He is a very nice teaher. He knows what he is doing and loves it. He gives class notes and they are more helpful than the book required. I would recommend this teacher 100%.

LAST TIME I EVER WANT TO DEAL WITH SOMEONE LIKE HIM! HE DOES NOT CARE OR RESPECT STUDENT'S CONCERNS, like grades or needing help, etc. HE NEVER REPLIES TO E-MAILS. STAY AWAY FROM PROWATZKE!

He is arrogant. He can be nice, but otherwise, he doesn't care about his students' success. Even when some students try, he still is arrogant and does not care for them at all. He doesn't even respond to any e-mails. Steer clear of Prowatzke!

For being a chemistry class "Adam" mad the material as easy as possible. He is young, down to earth and prefers students to call him by his first name. He tests straight from the book and also simplifies it further for students. He is always available in office hours and helpful.

really good teacher. Very helpful. He is pretty laid back which lets the student at ease with a difficult class. Struggled with it in the beginning but just put the time in it and he was willing to help. would take him again. really knowledegeable about the subject. got an A in the class

He's a pretty good teacher who never gets too upset, even when he worries about student success rates for a hard class. Grading is a little tough, but most people, from what I know, pass.

Sometimes arrogant, but I like him. Chemistry is not easy, but Adam (he's young, so call him by his first name) is very knowledgable of the subject. I don't know why someone wrote he looks sloppy... he wears a polo every day. He picks favorites early on, so start the semester off in his office.

Awesome teacher! Very helpful inside and outside of class. Definitely one of the best and easiest chem 1 teachers at the school. He is very nice and willing to help you outside of class. Study, study, study!

Adam is one of the most thorough in explaination of Organic Chem. He is always willing to do extra explaining if needed. His use of extras to help see the 3-D world of Chemistry is cool. I think he is one of the best professors at FGCU.

HAS BEEN TEACHING SAME STUFF TOO LONG TO MAINTAIN HIS OWN INTEREST IN THE CLASS AND IN HIS STUDENTS. JUST GO BY ROTE AND GET ANOTHER SEMESTER DONE.

Terrible teacher, let his TA's take over the work he was supposed to be doing. Extreme lack of interest in what he was teaching. Assigned a lot of homework that was never graded! Wasted your time by doing this during time of exams.

If all that mattered for a good professor was teaching, then he's great. But he looks sloppy, which is really distracting; he's always talking to his TAs, even during exams; he NEVER, EVER, EVER graded stuff; and he basically lacked all professionalism. He taught you the stuff, but the class wasn't enjoyable. Better than most, but not good enough.

Prowatzke teaches those who wish to be taught. He's willing to go over many examples until you understand, although he sometimes can oversimplify. Chem isn't an easy class no matter who you take, but Adam is willing to help you one on one if needed. He completely refuses to grade assignments though until the last second. And he has a pastel fetish.

Adam is probably one of the best professors I've ever had. Hes a pretty cool guy and he only wants the best for his students. Hes down to earth and he makes chemistry enjoyable. Hes into cars and loves sea food (Zorbas haha). If you can have the opportunity to take him, do it cuz hes a baller. The class itself is intense.

He's so scattered and barely anyone in the class comprehends what he's trying to teach. There aren't many possibilities to improve your grade if you bomb a test. He grades 2-3 labs the entire semester and nothing is ever posted when he says it will be. He tries to make you feel dumb for not understanding chem. Would not recommend...

Adam is an amazing prof. He is very helpful both in class and in the office hours. You can tell he is very passionate about what he's teaching and he goes over the info in great detail. If you fail, it's because you're not trying. The tests are exactly what he goes over in class. You don't have to go to class either, but it's extremely helpful.

I had him fro lab, also as a TA in the lecture, he was honestly more helpful in the lecture than in lab, he explained every lab before we did it and answered everyone's questions. he sometimes gets peevish but overall super easy, guaranteed A.

Do not take Adam for Chem One. He is never prepared for class and homework or practice tests are never posted on time. It takes up to 2 weeks to get an assignment he claims to post that evening. His organic Chem is his priority, so maybe better luck in that class.
