Covers everything you need to know to get published. Well thought out presentations and is very clear on what is expected. Starshine is interesting, entertaining and she gives good, practical advice from a working writer's perspective. BUT she does expect "grown-up" students who come to class regularly, on time and who can meet deadlines.
I love her. Shes hot, witty, creative, upbeat, and soulful. A great writer and shows you the side of journalism that is truly creative and expressive.
starshine is awesome. funny, smart, to-the-point. if you are interested in writing for a newspaper this is the class for you. she knows how to do it and how to teach it. just make sure to go to class and do the little assignments because i didn't so i ended up with a C even though i did pretty well on my papers..
This class could not have been better! Fascinating material delivered in an organized, passionate, fun way. Starshine knows her stuff, keeps things interesting and is a lot of fun. Awesome, awesome class - couldn't recommend it more highly. If you are interested in writing anything TAKE THIS CLASS.
