HIST11A Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

This professor is highly intelligent with an extensive background in history. However, he explains things in such a complex manner that it is sometimes hard to follow him. He seems to sometimes forget that there are students in the class that are not as fast paced as he is in his own subject. Good professor, extremely helpful.Midterms are notbad

HIST122 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

I was stoked about this class even before going in, but Lopez-Lazaro exceeded my expectations. I learned SO MUCH about not just pirates but human nature and societies as well. The reading was interesting and enjoyable. Take advantage of office hours. He's a hard grader and the tests were difficult. But if you like a challenge, it's worth it!

HIST13 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Extremely difficult grader and very intimidating in office hours. If you're not prepared to meet with him, stay away. He enjoys when students make an effort to learn or conduct outside research. Raise your hand, you'll get brownie points.

HIST11A Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Prof. Fabs is definitely a good prof. He may be a pirate on paper grades, but his lectures are clear and very informative. Use his office hours; he is definitely helpful and is very intelligent. Pretty cool guy too

great professor. helped me understand that history is more about analysis than memorizing tedious names and dates. only had to write three response papers and one final. had to read kind of alot. but it wasn't crucial for quizzes at all. i never read and ended up with an A in the class. he is a really smart guy. i wish he taught more in class

HIST11A Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

incredibly smart prof. office hours are crucial but they are always very helpful/insightful. a lot of reading of sources and a research paper. structure of the class was weird. students taught lecture isntead of him. the class can be frustrating at times
