really not a great teacher. he'll teach a little, and then go over a very simple problem. the next day you'll have a quiz on something that's so much harder than what you learned. you really need to do homework and constantly read to keep up an A.

Only 3 tests. No homework, no paper, no project, no attendance, and no participation. You only need to take 3 exams and he will give you sample exams.

Horrible Professor, I have a little sympathy for him but he should not be a professor. The way he grades depends on your three test (25/25/50), I can swear studying will not help either. Bad test takers like I should not take this professors corse.

Definitely a easy class once you understand all the concepts, the textbook is your best friend in this course. His exams are not difficult, but his lecture will definitely not teach you things unless you really understand the material. I would say he's 3.2/5 for a professor, he would be a good pick if you like teaching yourself

Mediocre professor like many over at Baruch. Avestruz jump from a very easy problem to a one nobody understand. Tests are very tricky compares with class examples. He avoids to gives real world examples and push for formulas. You can feel he does not care about students really learn the material. Mediocre guy

FIN 3000 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Get ready to teach yourself. Class is a waste of time and he expects you to do every problem at end of each chapter. Not much help and exams are tricky.

An A is manageable. He only teaches problems from the book. To be honest one can do all the problems in the book and not attend class and you'll do good. I read chapters and practiced problems repeatedly before exams, and managed to get an A in the course. I don't really like his teaching style, but we're adults and can teach ourselves if need be.
