One of my favorite classes! She is passionate about anthropology and related her lectures to personal field experience, which made things much more interesting. She really cares about her students, as long as you care about the class. Be prepared to write a weekly journal about personal cultural experiences. Great professor overall.

Teacher was very passionate about anthropology. She did a lot of field work before teaching the class which made her stories very interesting. She was a bit scatterbrained. Some of the tests were missing pages and we never started class on time. Overall, she made the class worth taking.

ANT101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Takes forever to go through the one slide. Teacher loves her subject and is a working Anthropologist which makes the long subject interesting. Be warned if you do not like writing do not take her, she will make you turn in a weekly journal and there is a 5 page paper due from a field trip you take on your own. Tests are right from slides

ANT102 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

I took this as a telecourse and so far I have not been impressed. TV programs seem dated and sort of unnecessary when taking tests which cover materal exclusively on quizes and textbook reading. Quizes are from home but are 100 questions each. No internet guidance. Just seems the teacher may be hesitant to catch up to todays tech. :/

Has anthropological field experience, so interesting discussions, but not always applicable to current topic or test. Not aware of what's on her own printed schedule, so we had to take a midterm outside because room was locked and she was coming at 7:30 pm for a 5:30 pm Final!
