Easy class, five tests, she gives study guide that shows exactly what will be on the test. Let you re-do one of the test. Don't really need to buy book, cause you can use the online book when you buy the account for mymathlab.

Attendance mandatory if in the end you want extra 10 points. Thorough on what she is looking for and very nit picky on how you put your answers. She engages well with students if anyone needs help. I was struggling in class but managed to pull of with a C! Loved her class and how she made it fun. Definitely recommend her :)

I'm not very good in math at all but Prof.Foo made it so much easier. She gives her student alot of chances to make up for bad grades. If you try hard enough and go to her office hours if you need help you will for sure pass her class.

She is a very nice person but if math isn't your strength I don't advise you to take her class. She has a very thick accent, she works extremely fast, and has trouble explaining certain areas of the course.

She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She’s a terrible teacher and she very hard to understand. Maybe back in China she was a good teacher. It’s a shame she can’t teach because she a very nice lady. Right now I am getting D in the class. Yes, I passed but I could of done better with a better teacher.

If you are someone good at math, this is the perfect teacher to have. I enrolled in this class and did not use a textbook and got an A. Homework is mandatory and if not done you cant take the chapter test. Overall I learned a lot as a refresher from my high school class. She's a really good teacher, and you will learn if you attend and listen.

I am not good at math but she gave a lot of examples when we learned new topics. The review material before each test is extrmely helpful.

She knows what she's talking about, but unfortunately she's a terrible teacher. She has a really hard time conveying ideas in math, and honestly seems lost in translation. It's a shame, she seems really nice though.

She did a good job of teaching some tough material in a short amount of time. I'm glad I took her class.

This is a very fast paced course. She will warn you at the beginning of the semester. She basically very sticked on her syllabus. Just go to the class, do the homework, and ask questions during the class or her office hours; you will be fine.

She is the best pro. She seems hard but at the end you will get A or B. 4 exams and 1 final, but you have a chance to retake any lowest exam at the end of semester. I failed all 4 exams but get B. My advice, come to class everyday (55pts), do all HW 40pts so u get lots point bonus at the end. she always give sample Q b4 exam. Take with her for A.

Her tests are just like the homework. She will give you a study guide that is exactly what is on the test. If you are not good at math and you need extra help, I would not take her. If you are good at math a you can keep up well, then it is an easy A

Good professor. Im not a fan of math & took precalc in HS. Was dreading taking it again, but she made it easy on me. Definately helped reinforce my knowledge. Very helpful if you're willing to learn, she'll definately go out of her way to help. Study guides before the test are super helpful, you know exactly what to expect. She's worth taking :)

She goes super fast and along with her accent makes it really difficult to understand, so if you are a slow learner I suggest you choose a different teacher. Gives out lots of extra credits though

She is a good teacher although she can be confusing at times. She is very helpful during office hours. Homework is mandatory and she gives extra credit for good attendance and a lot of extra credit in general. Does a review on exam problems beforehand. This was a 6-week course. I am not great at math and managed in A calc 1.

She is nice and gives a lot of chances to improve your grade. See her in her office hours to get help.
MTH241
She's very nice, but she's not good at explaining the material, which means you'd have to learn it yourself. Overall, she tells you what's going to be on the exams. She lets you retake the exam. She counts homework + attendance. Must do the project; i know it's stupid, but if you don't do it, you won't get a good grade. Basically, just self-learn.
