Some "teachers" just aren't cut out to teach. I love math and this class was probably the worst experience of my education. She is unwilling to put forth any effort to help people. I didn't suffer because I'm decent with the material. But, many of my friends suffered from her poor classroom expertise. Bottom line: take someone else.

Will not explain things more than once. Not willing to help you with the work. Makes you feel stupid if you do not think the way she does.

Had to use the math lab A LOT because I couldn't understand her. Lets you correct problems on your test and gives half your points back BUT she counts the final twice - counts as the final AND replace your lowest test score. My lowest test was an 87. I got a 60 on the final (accumulative, HARD) and she STILL replaced it! Many students failed :(

She is an aweful person. Told the class no excuses you miss a test its an F. My sister passed away, I got an F, for attending her funeral. Sad Sad Lady. She doesn't explain and doesn't help

Sharon was awful she wouldnt even help her students get out of her class...everyone dropped her class after the first test, then you would think shed cut everyone who stayed a break..that witch still ended up failing the ones who stayed.

I had her for liberal arts 1, and she was way better than who I had for college algebra. There IS a lot of homework and she DOES collect it, but it's worth it because it counts for points, and it helps with the tests. Gives test corrections which is great, and a lot of opportunity for extra credit.

I dont understand whats not to like, all homework due on day of test, test corrections offered, extra credit offered, and a review before the test. if you didnt like this teacher it is because you didnt want to try! she give every student the opportunity to pass with flying colors.

I would NOT recommend this teacher, although this was not a difficult class. Amount of work you must show on homework is ridiculous, tedious & pointless. One week she had us drawing 3 dimensional figures. Great if you're an art major! I don't think she even looks at what she is assigning. She has favorites too. Avoid this one - take Mrs. Edgar!!

You are in this class because you dont know math......Dont take this teacher. She doesnt like many questions, she gets impatient if you dont understand something. Its very fast pace so its hard if you dont 'get' it.

I had ms. sweet for intermidiate algebra. she offers extra credit but 5 points for 20 volunteer hours?? Get real! i have to warn yall she is rude and a jerk. DONT TAKE HER.

She has a great personality and does offer extra credit, but she is very fast paced. With her excellent math skills she felt like it should be easy for everyone. Her help hours don't do much good especially if you have a full time job.

the best teacher i have had at BCC for math. get to do test corrections. all homework due on day of test. easy to understand. explains step by step. reviews before test. options for extra credit. i would deff. take her again. i took mrs.wang this semester and i regret it more then ever. forreal. this teacher is good.

she made math easy to understand for me, she is very good about stopping and answering questions in the middle of lecture. there is homework but i have to say doing it helped me learn better. i have never been good at math and i think a good teacher does a world of difference. i am going to take her next semester for coll. algebra

I like her, although the homework is a little like highschool. She is helpful, and pretty easy to understand. I am not very good at math but I recieved an A instead of a B, by doing all the extra credit and attending everyday/

I had her for Intermediate and College Algebra. I am taking her for Stats. I learn a lot and Homework and Attendance help improve your grade outside of her test. Big difference between an A from a B. These class has a lot of High School kids who can't grow up. Don't look at the negative if you really want to learn.

This teacher runs her class too much like a high school class. She requires that you hand write the entire chapter of the book for your "homework" folder and grades on attendance. She finds favorites in the class and locks into those particular students. She moves very quickly and doesn't offer much support to those who can't keep up.
