Ms. Pounds was my English 102 professor at Delgado. She is very, very nice and wants to help her students do well. During class, she would explain what changes you needed to make on your essays. When I had to miss a few classes due to personal issues, she worked with me to make sure I could turn all my work in!

she was a very nice teacher. i loved her, but the only thing i didnt like is that she didnt give specific things to write about. but i came out with an A.

Does not give BS assignments. all are straightforward, and her class is and easy A as long as you complete all assignments and come to class.

She's a very sweet lady that has her students' interest in mind. It's very possible to receive an A if you read and go for help.

She does a good job of selecting stories and poems that appeal to students. I was dreading the drama section but Streetcar was great.

Really seems to love her job. I can go to her with any problem (not just with English) and she's always there to help.

She is an awesome teacher. Make sure you let her and classmates read your rough drafts, and take her advice b/c she grades the papers! Go to the writing center also!
