Smart. Funny. Loved him. Take his class! The class is really interesting when you actually read the material but even when you don't, FAF is pretty insightful and whatnot.

He is super eloquent, knowledgeable and funny. not a harsh grader as long as you attend the class and understand the readings. take his class and you will learn a lot

ANTH 269 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Extremey knowledgable and very funny. Tells great anecdotes about fieldwork. Tough grader, tho!

Ant 269 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

He is nice and funny and does often bring treats. But he does also trash other professors and students. You have to do the readings or you really will be lost on the exams. Some of the exam questions are a bit confusing in the wording and he won't answer questions once he passes it out. Otherwise it was decent.

ANT233 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I'm not impressed with this prof. He's overly psyched with himself and often talks down to us. He talks trash about his peers in class as well as students he's had/currently has. He is also very poorly organized and rambles about random topics in class.

ANT269 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

He is very knowledgeable about indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica. He is also very funny which makes class fun. He likes to bring props or candy to class and overall super chill but his class is not a walk in the park. You have to stay on top of readings otherwise you will be lost.

Great professor. Almost became an ANT major because of this class. Funny and actually gets to know his students.

can you hear the drums fernando? he can. this professor is great. he expects good solid work, but isn't much of a picky grader. if you deliver, he delivers. also, he brings donuts and coffee to class like at least 2-3 times a semester.

He's really funny and interesting. Things that have the potential to be boring seem fresh with him. My favorite professor and class right now.

Helpful, funny, laid back and clear. Classes are discussions of reading and lectures. Easy. Problem is that he allows people to make irrelevant personal connections. Highly reccomended.
