At the beginning of the class, I had no idea what to expect. Adam grades tough, but allowed us to correct our work throughout the semester for a higher grade. I can honestly say that he helped me develop a better sense of anthropological writing, which is invaluable as an anthro major. The key to getting a good grade in his class is communicating!

ANTH2371 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

One of the worst instructors I have ever had. Could not teach a class to save his life. Focused more on keeping average grades around 70% than teaching. Would recommend he stay out of academia, because he does not put the student/material first. Also very harsh/cross at times. Can be narcissistic, rude, and arrogant to the point of near delusion.

He assigns papers without giving guidelines and only after grading the paper does he give you what he was looking for so you can almost never get an A on a paper. I completely regret taking this class, he was extremely boring and I dreaded every day I had to go to his class

Inconsistent grading. Not willing to budge even when he contradicts the textbook and his lecture.

Nice guy, I recommend e-mailing him if you have questions about anything. The class is pretty boring though

Knows his material very well, but doesn't care about the students standing or grades at all. If you do not do exactly what he wants, you will not do well in the class, even if you have correct information. Way too hard of a grader for an introductory course.

Adam was a really good teacher. He knew and liked what we was talking about, which made class interesting. Lots of videos, but they were all good to watch. If you go to class and take notes, you'll do well.

I love this class, even though it is hard. He is really passionate about what he teaches and is up front about what you need to do to pass the class. You cant fool around and do half ass work.

The material is difficult and the tests are hard, but he is always willing to explain stuff to you before/after class if you have questions. Besides, he's so HOT who cares what he's talking about??

He was a great teacher. Posted powerpoints online so we could fill in the blanks in class. Made great study guides and the tests were based off them. Really fun and interesting class. Just show up, take notes, study a little, and you will get a good grade. Highly recommend him!!

Don't take his class. The tests are hard and the study guides are supposed to help, but instead are just a waste of time. Its an incredibly boring class and all he does is babble about fossils.

He's a passionate teacher and knows a lot, but the material is dry and hard to understand. The tests are pretty hard but he does seem to want the class to do well and he grades on a curve.

Awful teacher! His study guides are worthless and he talks way too fast. It is frustrating studying so much information that isn't even on the test. He is not a full professor yet so don't call him a professor because he is clearly not one. He has done the impossible by turning what should have been an easy introductory course into a hard class.

Highly reccommend him for Anthro 202. Classes are fun, and he gives you exactly what you need to study for exams. You must attend classes to get the notes. Easy class, he's an easy grader as long as you follow the format. Fast to answer questions by e-mail or in his office. He's very good looking, too.

Great professor. Easy to understand, interesting conversations in class, good videos. Make sure to attend lecture, his notes are precise and cuts down on reading the book. His tests are multiple choice and essay, but he gives you a heads up so you know what you should study. Definitely recommend him.
