Great teacher. Passionate about his teaching and gets very involved in his lectures. Interesting person; very approachable and has a comfortable laid back teaching style. His reflection papers really let you grapple with the content of the class and draw your own conclusions. TAKE HIM! Exams are straightforward only if you prepare adequately. Great
Even an atheist would be interested in this class. His style of teaching and interest in the subject would attract any crowd. Gave me a different perspective on religion. I have a new found appreciation for my own faith. Considering changing my major(or possibly taking a minor) in theology. A lot of reading but, definitely worth all the effort!
Very relaxed, intresting to listen to and clearly enjoys the subject. His essasy are inanely easy - so long as you keep it intresting and include a source or two there's no chance of failing. There's no required reading that actually matters and winging it works just as well, if not better on his tests.
