This class was hard, but amazing. Every lecture is important and interesting! Krug knows her stuff and she's an amazing teacher! She is always willing to meet with you to clear up anything, and will always stay after class to just chat. She is so personable and I will totally take her classes again! Just a bit of a hard grader :p

GO TO CLASS! Every class is a lecture. Honestly, ur notes only help u with the primary source papers which suck cause u have to be creative. The study guide for the test is all terms. Look them up on the web and know every one. The only hard part on the test is the essay. Know the most unclear terms. Those r the ones she puts as the writing parts.

HIS 150 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Deadly boring, zero interactiveness in the class, super strict about grammer and english in papers, SUPER unreasonable with assignment expectations, horrible class, SKIP IF POSSIBLE

It's obvious Krug is enthusiastic about ancient history but, it's hard to parallel her enthusiasm. She sets unclear expectations with all writing assignments. Only take this course if you're a European history buff.

HIS101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

First of all, she thinks she is an English teacher which sucks. Also don't plan on getting out on time. If you are a history idiot like me you need to extensively read the book and read it before class to know what she is talking about. The class is all lecture with a few notes on the board. Overall though, she is kinda funny and nice.

She is very nice and very enthusiastic about what she does. There are not a lot of assignments in this class so you have to do well on them. The tests were rather easy, but again there aren't that many tests so you have to do well on them. She gives you a list of terms to go over for the tests. As long as you know those terms you'll do fine.

HIST101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

She's a VERY kind lady who makes her class interesting. Her expectations are unrealistic and unclear, though. She gives a midterm, final and three harshly graded 1st person papers, and it's difficult to know what she wants. This class is 'hard' not because of the obvious but b/c it's difficult to know what she wants. Kind lady, but take w/ caution.

HIS101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I am a nursing major who has made dean's list every semester & has never had trouble with a class like I have with this one. Unclear, thinks she is an english teacher, assigns most papers/tests due the day after a break, no explanation on the grades she gives students. I took copious notes, read and got a C. Stay away.

Hist101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

The lady is freaking terrible the class the tests the papers all outrageous. All she does is put words up on the board and rambles on the entire class and think she's funny. The first test she gave us a 84 word study guid and there was 13 questions on the test. Don't even get me started on papers she thinks shes a English teacher she's horrible

She's a funny lady. She doesn't tell you what's expected of you for exams and papers. I studied more for this class than a/p or microbiology & got a 4. I wouldn't take it again. The material is semi-interesting, but I think most people would find it boring. Papers are tedious. She makes up grades w/relatively no basis. Liked her, not the class.

I have used Blackboard in EVERY course since 2008; the syllabus lists all assignments and their total grade weight, so students can compute their own grade. The final is not worth as much as 35% of the grade, and I offer tons of prep help to all students before the final. The only grades that were toast were for those who didn't turn in ANY papers
