This class was faced paced. I took online during Mini-mester. Dr. E responds so fast to e-mails. She is super nice, and cares that her students succeed! The book was mandatory. We had 4 quzzes and 1 paper. I had to read all the chapters. She does provide pp notes that are hepful during the test but you must read. This was a good elective class!

Just read powerpoint, and notes, reading book is not always mandatory . Quiz easy A, and write a couple of 2 page papers. Wow

Hard class, but if you do all the work an submit your assignments then it is petty easy. Tests where difficult for me even when I read the material. The book was extremely boring. I would recommend her and definitely take another class with her.

Professor Emeka, is a good instructor. Overall the class was not difficult at all...you must study for the exams...they are not easy, but it takes an effort on your part to pass them.

I took her for two different classes. By far one of the best professors I have had. Assigns readings from the text then reviews them with well prepared PP presentations. Encourages class involvement. Grading standards are clear. Highly recommended!!!

Took her online. Made an A. Weekly posts relative to chapter. Provides notes/ppt, one paper for the semester, good paced class. Use the lecture notes she provides...very helpful. She's nice and communicated promptly.

i have taken her for two classes. she relies upon powerpoint which comes straight from the book. all you have to do is read the book and you'll do fine. the lectures are helpful to reinforce your reading. the tests are easy and she does give simple reviews. in this class had a term paper group project trip to justice center. very nice very knowledg

This professor is very knowledgable about the material. If you take the class online you have to be very discipline. I thoroughly enjoyed the class. In regards to the test they are extremely hard and you don't get a review at all. You can pass the class but you have to read and study. It is not easy at all!

She gave more work than a regular graduate professor. Daily 2 page assignments, 10 page paper, in class mid-term, and final exam during summer. Will never take her for a class again.

F2F class. Uses book and powerpoint. Attendance mandatory because she has speakers and in class assignments that she awards points towards final grade. Study powerpoints and keep up with chapters and will do well in class. Very helpful and responsive to questions and emails. Highly recommend, will take again.

Online course enjoyed it very much. Discussions and assignments are insightful and interesting. Tests are timed but not difficult. She is very helpful and is good about responding to emails. Would definitely take classes with her again.

An ok prof, but she seems to have little, if any, experience in the real field of CJ outside of the classroom. If you want a fairly easy prof, take her. If you want to learn first hand from a CJ prof with experience in the field, dont. I must say, however, she is a very nice lady. This class had 3 exams, 2 article reviews,a paper,and a presentation

Great teacher, knows a lot about the juvenile justice system and makes class fun. If you sleep or act foolish she will call you out infront of the whole class. She is great.

She knows her stuff. Give very details notes Must attend class. Also have gues speakers and trips to prisons. Gives reviews and as long as your study test are not hard at all. HIGH RECOMMEND HER!!! She is a great teacher! She loves her job!

I think she is a very good teacher. Her test are very easy if you study the study guide she gives out. There aren't any surprises when it comes to the the test. She may seem mean and it may seem like she have a smart mouth but thats just her. You will see. But if you want an easy A (or B if you dont want to work as hard), you should take her

I disagree with the negative comments. I have taken her for several classes. She is a great professor and her test are very easy. If you stdy the study guide and do your assignments, you will pass. She might come off the wrong way but thats just her personality. Once you get used to it you will see that she is not bad at all.

She's great! The test are easy if you study the study guide she gives. She goes over everything thats going to be on the test in class on powerpoint so take good notes. I got an A in this class. Just go to class read the chapters, ask questions (if any), and you will pass.

She doesn't pretend to be mean, she is. Women is on a power high. Does not give two seconds of thought to anything unless it's on her agenda. She does not care if you pass or fail. If you GPA matters, find another professor.
