I actually learned something in this class! Very into current events and discussion. Don't expect an easy A. Definitely a GREAT choice for Social

The only reason to take this class is it's easy to get a good grade. Just agree with him and don't think for yourself and you'll be fine. He's off the wall on most topics, just smile, agree, then do some research on your own and it's easy credits.

Just another liberal who thinks that conservatives have to be squashed, therefore don’t have any morals, don’t bring up religion and don’t have an opposite stance than him. He will fight tooth and nail if you don’t agree with him 100%. Hello professor, sometimes you have to agree to disagree and accept that people have other opinions.

Regan's an aqcuired taste for sure. I've had him for two semesters now, and although he is smart, he is very scattered in presenting class material, and of course, his many many opinions. Don't take him if you like structure. I also feel it would be helpful if he had a real-time fact checker. Grades a little arbitrarily, but overall an okay prof.
PHIL1
Massive amounts of useless reading. Meandering class "discussions" which involve him arrogantly waxing philosophical about his extreme opinions and challenging any "idiots" to disagree with him and his "facts." Overall, not an open minded professor, not a great place to expand your mind as a student. Don't take this class.

The only reason I would't recommend Regan is because the more people who know how incredible a professor he is, the more people will sign up for his class and the less chance I will have of getting to take his class again. Absolutely take him if you have the chance, he's hands down the greatest professor/teacher I've ever had.

He is awesome! Very quirk and thinks human kind will die at any second...but super informative and just brilliant. Wonderful teacher. You will not fall asleep in his lectures. He is approachable and kind. TAKE HIM. You will love him.

Brilliant lectures. Funny jokes, reminds me of Woody Allen. Half lecture, half discussion. Prof. Regan got me interested in current events. Very knowledgeable on assigned readings. Handwriting is a little illegible. Grading based on four papers, but essay questions in advance. Favorite prof. Down to earth. Liberal. Speaks in nuggets of wisdom.

By far my favorite professor in my college experience. I have taken him for three semesters and don't know what I'll do without him as my professor next semester. Reading recommended but not required, no midterm, take home final. You will know more about current events than at any other time in your life. Take good notes, you will want them later.

He assigns a TON of reading. He's also kind of an opinionated jerk. He comes off really arrogant and presents his opinions as facts. I wouldn't recommend this professor he was terrible.

I recommend this professor 100% He's just one of those that I'll look back on and say how much his class changed my perception on life. He's funny, witty and will have u laughing as well as truly learning and becoming aware of the world. He is opinionated but does not force them on you, he wants you to think and his assignments reflect that.no tests

He's a crazy liberal, who gets you to think about current events. He clearly has his opinions on them, but he loves debates. Debates get his classes going. The more you talk in class, the more he likes you. Discussions almost never are about reading and you don't have to read. Papers can be googled with ease. He'll inspire you though. Easy A

Regan is a hard, but good professor. He expects you to do the reading. Yes, he gets distracted at times, but bottom line is, when discussing the books, he knows what he's talking about. Also, he is always around to talk, whether about papers or class. Also, he doesn't pick favorites. I am not that liberal, and we got along great. And Simpsons help

great professor. really smart, witty, and funny. very honest and open to answering any and all questions and sharing stories. light workload, readings aren't too bad. no exams, only papers. makes sure you understand assignments and wants to help you. talks a lot about current events and the world. just a really great guy. makes class interesting.

He was my favorite part about LSP, and IMO he is the smartest professor in the program. He's tough but fair, you have to really form an opinion and be able to back it up to get a good grade in this class. BSing does not work with him, only analyzing and understanding.
