Dr. Griffin was an approachable instructor with a deep love for his subject and a willingness to work with students and aid their academic success. His tests were difficult but VERY fair - drawn completely from his excellent lecture notes, and plenty of prior warning is given to help you focus your studying. Don't bother with textbook, seriously

Dr Griffin is a great teacher! He understand the difficulty of the material and does his best to explain it as clearly as possible. He uses powerpoint slides everyday and hands them out as note supplements. His tests are rather difficult but if you study right off the notes he gives you youll be golden. Very kind , clear & down to earth teacher

Dr Griffin was a very organized teacher, communicated clearly through the use of PowerPoint slide lectures, and always let you know what was required for an exam. The textbook was not used very often but he would regularly pull quiz/exam questions from it. He is a very down to earth teacher and I would recommend him.

Griffin's lectures are entirely useless. He just reads off of his powerpoints word for word. He seems like an amateur teacher and he cannot answer many of the deep questions you ask him, however, he will make sure to look it up for you. Dull lectures and not an overall intelligent or interesting person.

Great teacher! Takes the time to go through the tough material and is very clear about what to expect on exams. Prints off lecture notes and hands them out in class. Quizzes aren't hard. Tests are a little tough but follows his notes. Offers xtra credit. Very approachable and wants students to do well. Definitely recommend!

Horrible. 5 minutes left to go in a mid-term and he announces to the class, "If you don't know it by now...you're probably never going to know it." Real encouraging. Also recommends putting the amino acids up on the wall and staring at them. He used this expert technique himself...
