EASY! Lecture based course, book isn't needed at all. Posts brief lectures on blackboard but I recommend you attend her review days. Ace first two tests don't have to take the last one. The course is based on three tests and thats it! 100 pts total. No homework. Recommend

ONE OF THE BEST CLASSES I HAD TAKEN AT OHLONE. Professor Johnston is an adorable older woman. She teaches with lots of knowledge and cute little jokes. Attendance isn't mandatory. And if you get A's on the first two tests she exempts you from the final! Doesn't require a textbook and provides notes! Saves money and the stress of taking a final!

Very easy. Attendance is NOT mandatory, but I would attend class for an easier A (you wouldn't need to really study that way). Personally, the class was interesting, so I would say it's worth attending either way. Quickly review what you've learned before the tests and you'll get an easy A. On a side note, her voice may irritate you after a while!!

I got a B for summer class so right now I have a 3.3 gpa. Her class is very straight forward. 40 points on homework 60 points on tests. The entire class lecture is online so you can always go over it. Is this class an easy A? Not really. Easy B? Yup. She also curves the test based on the class average. I recommend this class but you must study hard

Although this was the easiest class that have taken, the professor was very knowledgeable and really made you understand the subject. Because of the fact that class was accelerated because of the summer, it was hard to sit there for two hours. But the information was very interesting. Great professor! Very nice.

She has a cartoon like voice which is really cute! She's also very funny and likes to tell stories about her life. Her lectures are very informative and goes over everything. PAY ATTENTION IN HER CLASS, because most of her informations from her lectures are on the test!!! You should also read the book if you want to get a better grade. Easy A or B

She is pretty easy. I almost never went to class and got an A. Book is not required, but she puts all info on blackboard. Only 3 tests + extra credit which you can get from attending. Day before a test is important to go to, she reviews well. RECOMMEND!

Textbooks aren't required! And she sends over lecture notes for you to read, in case you fall asleep in the class due to her oh so soothing voice. All jokes aside, she's a great professor who explains the material very well, and she curves the multiple choice tests. If you are in the top 5% of the class, you don't even have to take the final!!

One of the best professors I've had at Ohlone. Her lectures are really interesting, and her tests are curved extremely fairly. She sends out an email that details all of her lectures, so you are not required to buy the textbook nor take notes yourself.

class was a breeze. she gives you notes for all her lectures. and there is only three exams. first two were tricky, but her last exam makes up for them, so you'll most likely get an A or a B. I didn't go to class half the time because she doesn't care, I just went prior to test days and to prepare for tests, i just read her lecture notes. simple

She is probably the nicest teacher I ever had in college. Very approachable, understanding, and answers all questions. The class was one of my favorites too because it was straightforward, organized, and you don't need to buy the book (DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU CAN MAKE PROFIT). Grade is based on 4 multiple choice exams that are on lectures and outlines.

I had this for the summer semester. This woman knows he stuff. She is well versed in the medical field through experience and education. Her lectures are long and detailed, so take lots of notes! If you do not understand English very well, you may struggle. She is one of the best professors I've had at Ohlone.

She was really interesting. Not many people are bold enough to spell Jessica with a "G", so I applaud her. I bet she's gone through a lot in her life with a name like that, people pronouncing it "guess-ick-uh" and all. Bravo, teach! Oh I don't like biology...like at all but this class was nifty and I sold the book back for $80! Can you say profit!?

Dont take the summer section! The midterm was multiple choice + five short answer questions(final=50 multiple choices) Yet the time was so limited that we had like two chapters per week.TOO RUSHY!the final grade was based on the two test grades, and she wont adjust the final grade even you did well in class and the term paper!

Your grade will be based one 3 tests, if u do well enough in the first two tests, you dont need to attend the final. you dont need a textbook for this class, just take notes carefully during class and read the notes she send to u carefully, u'll be good. But for people who have to get A, this can't be promised, her test sometimes easy sometimes hard

I think it's my fault as I am not good at biology. She explains the lecture well, but I still can't study well. The materials is quite hard to me.

Her lectures were my ticket to acing the exams (your grade is based on 3 exams). Don't bother buying the book if you intend to attend all her lectures, take notes, and study her outlines. I like the way she explains the material; she has experience from being a surgeon. She is also very willing to answer your questions, so take advantage of that.

She is EXTREMELY easy. You don't even need the book it's a waste of money. I got an A in her class w/out the book. I missed a few classes but she will go over everything in the review the week before the tests. Only 3 tests, no hw. It would be a joke for you not to pass. She's very nice and accommodating! I definitely recommend her!!!
