"Lectures are long" "Respected by students" "Hilarious"

He's funnier than he gets credit for, tbh. Warwick's a nice guy, and he's pretty chill & easy to talk to if you've got questions after class. 101's not the most exciting course but he's a good prof.

this was supposed to be pop culture and instead it was a waste of time. i learned absolutely nothing, he's disorganized and all over the place. he's an easy marker if you just give him what you want, but it's not what you want it to be at all.

Comm Theory Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: P

He speaks the truth and the truth hurts to those who refuse to see it. If you are in university to get a degree and marks, you won't like him...but if you go to school to think critically and learn about the world, then you will love Warwick. He has passion for what he teaches and he is not a robot regurgitating facts (like most professors).

Had him for Comm Theory. He infuses a lot of his own ideals and beliefs into the lectures. The midterm has to do with defining and writing about terms discussed i class. Because of his need to indoctrinate us with his beliefs we never discussed half the terms in the class and i had to reteach the entire course to my study group.

Students who don't enjoy his classes are overly literal thinkers who'd prefer to have information spoon fed to them rather than actually engage in the material. He is non-traditional and this (along with his vast knowledge of the subject matter) is what makes him a fantastic professor. If you're not an independent thinker, don't bother.

I had him for Digital Media and Communication Theory. He is much better at teaching Communication Theory since he rambled on in the Digital Media labs and we didn't get a chance to finish the tutorials. He's an easy marker and a happy-go-lucky guy. Com theory is dry and depressing but his enthusiasm makes the class.

eccentric to say the least. it's really not hard to get an A in this class, you just have to put up with his erratic teaching style.

Most RTA students give Warwick a bad reputation because he is challenging. I don't trust what most RTA students say because many of them are lazy individuals looking for easy courses to coast along with. Warwick's class is fair, interesting, and whether you agree with him or not, it is easy to pull off an A with a moderate amount of effort.

Despite what people say, he isn't a bad prof. He is quite eccentric, and can go off on tangents, but is very knowledgeable. You will learn a lot from this man, as long as you pay attention. He can come off as a bit rude at times, but he's actually really funny, and really smart.

At first he comes across as intelligent and interesting. A lot of his lectures though are focused around his opinion / theories. Although I do not agree with this, he takes it further to ridicule publicly any student who raises their hand and tries to offer a contrary view or idea. Very unprofessional.

He's a good prof. He is very knowledgeable about the course material, but does often go on tangents. He isn't the best at involving the class, and isn't too great at answering questions. This doesn't really matter though, because if you just go to class and pay attention you'll do fine.

Not as bad as a lot of people are making him out to be. Sure the course itself was useless and he had some weird habits or what not, but some of the classes especially in the second half of the semester were interesting. He isn't all that hard if a marker either. Only big negative is the mandatory attendance for every class thing.

Grumpy, and miserable. He proved that Comm Theory was useless, especially the way he taught...random rants about hippies, and started each class with a song. GOt mad when we weren't listening/paying attention/or reading the lyrics along with him. He was nuts! He sang to every song!

This man is insane...Exams were more or less common sense and readings have nothing to do with material in class. Final paper had to be between 490 and 500 words and marks were deducted for words over or under this amount.

I felt like he didn't have the experience to judge our work. He often showed us his creations (music, over photoshopped items), but none of them were impressive, very much disappointing actually, considering it was a design focused class. He also favours students and gives random marks.

We did not learn anything about Communications Theory. He often went off on tangents about unrelated topics (San Francisco, Hippies, Napster, obscure music). This whole course was a waste of time, but at least the majority of students got an A in the end (after he fixed all the incorrect marks he submitted).

I know more now about his career at Napster and Hippie life in San Fransisco than I do about Communications Theory.
