HIST171 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Professor Odinga is awesome! She is a-little un-orthodox in her methods but I learned way more than I ever imagined in this class. If you do what she says it is not difficult to get a good grade. I highly recommend taking any class from her. She was a-little hard to understand at first but it got allot easier as time went on.

HIST171 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Very nice prof. but very difficult to understand!! If possible take as online course because attend. is mandatory but you would get more out of the class if it was online. She says it isnt a lecture class but all she does is talk and study guides for tests are basically the tests just longer.

World Civ, 1500-Present. Professor Odinga is darling, really nice, really smart so i feel bad for her rating. I could not understand a word she said because her English is not good at all. The only word I understood was "of course" and even that took me 2 weeks to figure out what she was saying.

good as a person, not as a teacher. attendance is required but you'd get just as much out of the class if you didn't go. she tends to ramble on and go off on tangents that aren't anywhere near relevant to the topic at hand. ppts are not very helpful at all. gives exact test study guide questions before test.. so no challenge. just a boring class.
