Professor Munoz is GREAT! She gives you the materials and if you read them thoroughly you will succeed! Everything is laid out extremely clear and if you ever have a question you can call and email her. 100% take this class, the materials she chooses are really interesting too. I learned a lot and reviewed a broad range of materials. Love her!

Shes awesome. HAd a great time in her class and learned a lot of intresting things and met a bunch of awesome people in her class. Overall a amazing class i totally recommend it.

She gave me 0 for no reason even though I did everything she asked. When I sent her email asking why, she never responded. I had never experienced any thing like this before in Orange Coast College. And I am not a lazy or bad student; my grades were always on top. I do not know why a professor like her can have a really bad grammar.

three projects, 2 tests, 6 quiz's. annoying the grade i got on my first project but the last 2 were perfect. overall easy but frustrated in the beginning. if u take her, stick through it til the end, your grade goes up towards the end even if your doin bad.

Great class overall! Fun lectures and projects, a lot of interaction between students and teacher. The quizes might seem hard at the beginning but you catch on and the exams are based on the quizes so they're super easy. She's very passionate, I strongly suggest her!

Took Pro. Munoz for Comm 1 & 10. Love her! She's passionate about teaching and dedicated to her students. 6 quizzes based off the readings from textbook. Midterm and final are same questions from the quizzes. Overall, easy class that's actually really interesting at the same time. I definitely recommend her!

She is a genuinely nice person, very accommodating to foreign students. Quizzes count for practically nothing of your final grade so stay in C-B range. Midterm, final, and projects count for everything so make sure you do them. If you stay on top of that you've got an A in the bag. And the midterm and final are a cakewalk.

Great person, moreover professor. She's very knowledgeable and kind. The structure of the class is fairly easy and fun (6 quizes, 2 exams, 1 presentation, about 2 projects). She is very helpful. The only advice I have is that you pick a good partner, because you'll have to present with them later on. Highly recommend. Oh, and the book cost me $5!

Prof Munoz class interesting but she is not supper organized. There is 1 book + PDF files every week but pdf file r some times hard to find & she doesn't make it clear in the syllabus. TD + chapter Q + Hw + 2 comments for other student posts makes your wkly grade. Also 1 chapter powerpoint presentation is assigned per group worth %100. Final got A

Great professor! Uses quiz questions on exam (you get to keep the quiz questions after you take it). we used a lot of technology in the class. fun projects. not a hard class, enjoy it and learn a lot. keep up with the readings. be on time.

From an Online Class perspective, she doesn't grade quickly but is quick to take points away if you don't turn it in on time. Gives no feedback on why she took away points on assignments, except through a rather cryptic generic explanation that doesn't tell you how to get full credit. Materials online are disorganized and not clear. Comm teacher?

EASIEST CLASS she gives you the final on quizes fun lectures in class pay attention its interesting anyways read chapters to get an A easy reading Munoz is fun, sweet, cares about what she does & you. super easy take it loved her. dont be late!! barely take notes participation helps. Not sure she's right for teaching an online class. One point of online is less paper, but she provides materials in wrong direction so you can't read them online? WTH? She also writes the most complicated instructions. They're confusing and hard to understand, coming from a Communication teacher. She doesn't understand the art of clarity.

Nice, fun, and chill teacher. SUPER EASY A! she makes the already interesting material more interesting. Attendance Mandatory (unless you email that your sick) barely take notes, read book if interested in material but not that serious because MIDTERM & FINAL ARE COPIED & PASTED FROM THE QUIZZES OVER THE SEMESTER! SO EASY. a chimp could pass :)

AMAZING. She is approachable, passionate, and actually cares about students. Got 96% without any extra credit... and she gives a LOT of E.C. chances. Study for the quizzes, and you'll ace the tests b/c she takes ACTUAL questions from the quizzes for her tests + final. One of the best teachers ive taken so far

shes just awesome!!!!!!!!! if ur comm major take her. her class is interesting and inspiring. and shes so passionate about wat she teaches. its alot of reading for quiz. but exam is super easy comes from quiz. shes my favorite teacher in smc.

Best professor ever. She`s an incredible person who is always eager to help the students. There might be a lot of projects to do during this course, but they will only take you few hours to complete. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities. Easy greader. U must take her class

This class is great and you will learn a lot. Pay attention to the syllabus since the due dates change toward the end of the course. To the commenter who thinks this class is "biased." What were you expecting from a class about race and gender? Everything in the course is based on facts, so whether you like the Kool-Aid or not, it's what it is.

She's a good teacher. I took her class online and I was very satisfied with her teaching style. She answers all questions quickly and she communicates very well. Some chapters require a lot of reading but you can usually get away with skimming over the extra readings and just look for the important stuff.

I took this class online. She grades easily enough, but the subject matter is very boring and there is about 60 pages to read each week. One week was over a hundred. The assignments are mostly opinion but there are about 6 of them a week. Two tests, one group project, and one individual media log.

Don't even bother going to class, she doesnt teach.Her quizzes have NOTHING to do w/ what she talks about in class.U have to read every single line in every single chapter to get an 'A' in the class. Ms. Muñoz is really anal about readings. She knows when you haven't read and she'll call you out on it. There are a lot of readings and you'll have a hard time keeping up if you disregard the assigned readings.

professor munoz is such a great teacher! really...i learned sooo much in the class and its such a fun class to take. She is not hard and she wants all her students to receive an 'A' . She answers all questions and makes the class very fun and clear. This will be a class that you will remember for ever and be glad you took especially with this proff

Easy teacher, very helpful. Loves discussions. Listening to her gets kind of irritation after a while, though. She keeps repeating herself and others, and asking really obvious questions. Probably a fairly easy A, though.
