It's difficult to rate Alex; her helpfulness ranges from "not at all" to "incredibly". This is the hardest course I have EVER taken - PhD Statistics classes have nothing on ETAP640! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to throw your computer out the window - and you'll be so amazed by what you accomplish at the end of it. Thanks, Alex! :)

This was a great class. At first I thought this was going to be miserable but I couldn't have been more wrong. I have taken more from this class than I did in most of my undergrad degree.

Very hard and intensive class. A LOT of work. She is a very hard grader and expects a lot. You will learn in this class, but you really have to work for it.

Designing our own courses and exploring various technologies was very enjoyable, but some of the learning experiences were confusing or uncomfortable, especially in the beginning of the course. Professor is very accessible and helpful; provides prompt personalized feedback throughout.

great class, really amazing teacher, she opened my eyes to a whole new world of teaching online. I learned so much from this course, this teacher, and her teaching style. It was a lot of work and easy to fall behind. And at the end of the course you will have an online course built, that you can take anywhere!! take this class! if you are not lazy.
