I not only learned from him, but was inspired by him as well. The materials he had us read and discuss were incredibly interesting.

My respect for Professor Saedinia. He has been one of my favorite professor's at LACC and wish more professor's were like him. His course is filled with lots of reading, writing and studying. However, it is work that will expand your critical thinking and great writing skills! Work hard and you will earn an A :)

Best teacher I've ever had, even if I don't get a good grade in this class and even if I left the country tomorrow I would be leaving with more knowledge.

Professor S is not a bad guy. He's just grumpy because I think he wants to be teaching Ivy League. If you can tolerate his irritability, you can learn a lot. He hates slackers and losers, so show up and try your best and be 'rigorous' in your writing and you will do well.

Great professor. Reasonable amount of work and fair grader. He is extremely smart; you will learn a lot about the world from him. I found this class to be extremely valuable-it's so much more than an English class. I wish more professors taught the material Professor Saedinia teaches.

He is a difficult teacher to take if what you're expecting is your typical community college professor BUT if you are serious about your education and actually want to learn then i would suggest taking his class. He is VERY particular in what he is looking for and hates when people are late to class but my opinion is that he is a great teacher. HOT

If you plan on continuing your education outside of the City College atmosphere - take Saedinia. Be patient with his style of teaching & open minded. He is very particular with his words but it helps during constructive arguments & future classes. I'm extremely glad I took his class.

Prof. Saedinia is an extremely knowledgeable and intelligent individual. His class is hard, but you learn a lot. This class is very text based, so it's important to purchase all of the required books. Also, you have to dedicate a substantial amount of time to the readings. He is one of the best professors ive taken.

Saedinia is VERY precise with the usage of language in his classroom. It gets extremely annoying but at the end of the day, it helps. He has high expectations on a student's writing ability so do not expect any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism; expect criticism and broad answers to how to revise your work.

Excellent teacher. Very text-based class so you need to enjoy (and actually do) the reading, but if you do he brings a great understanding and really encourages students to think and have their own ideas about literature. Also, big ups for not tolerating poor writing, this is college level English and he actually teaches like it. Very refreshing

Absolutely horrible. Throughout the entire semester, all I heard from him is "uhhhhhhh". He's very distracted when teaching and the work he assigns has absolutely nothing to do with English. Look elsewhere if you want to improve your writing skills.

Is he new at teaching? He offers no direction, is very broad with what he wants. How can a teacher ask you to drop his class if you don't write college level essays? I'm going to class to learn and he's asking me to drop it. He wants your essays to be how he wants it and not any different. Horrible horrible teacher. Rambles on and on. Don take him

This guy doesn't tolerate any lateness, not even one minute. You get the look of death. But he is great guy, very explanatory and a great teacher. Just don't be late ever or he will definitely feel disrespected. Very strict but it's good because he runs a tight ship and the class respects him, so less disruptions.

Prof. Saedina is very full of himself. He talks nonstop. He'll repeat the same thing a couple hundred times and even while doing the assignment, he wonntt stop talkingggg. Class wasn't really hard, just super annoying. He tries to make himself sound like hes some genius. Didn't care much for the teacher but work wasn't hard.

He is very intelligent but has a way over-complicating everything. He doesnt give much direction on assignments, just general instructions, so if you like teachers who give very specific outlines choose a different teacher. Class discussions were interesting. Also, he is not "hot". He is young thought, and very much a "hipster" in an awkward way.
