Mark was such an awesome teacher! A bit challenging but well worth it. He makes you want to learn more about the subject. Be sure to take lots of notes & do the reading. No homework, 3 exams consisted of short answers, multiple choice, e.c., & 2 essays. Also gives you a study guide. Very laid back but just don't talk to others while he's teaching.

Whoever says this class is hard has got to be kidding! Show up, pay attention and participate and you get an A! Mark is an awesome teacher who makes learning some not so interesting information very interesting! Had him for 150 & 151 and wish he taught every class I had to take! No HW, only 3 tests and he provides a detailed study guide for each.

Mark is a amazing professor. He makes history interesting and easy to understand. He does mention that some of the material covered tends to seem repetitive, but that's jut history. The textbook isn't used as much because he uses his own notes and in some instances his own knowledge on Native American history. However you can still refer to it.

Mr. Vezzola is an intelligent man. He tells the truths of the Native American people that is often never told. He's really dedicated to his material and passing true knowledge to his students. For students, it's takes just a little reading, then pass 2 out of 3 tests, and it's an easy A. I recommend this guy if you want to learn something! I did!

He is awesome!! Loved his class and had a great time learning. His notes can be a little unorganized but if you keep a few spaces between ideas you can back track if needed. Study guides are very complete, but not all is on the test. Just know it all.

Great teacher but his tests are extremely hard. I'm an A student! The test is essay and fill in the blank format, thus everything must come from your mind on paper.

nice guy but, his notes are all over the place, very hard to follow. the tests are extremely hard. no matter how much you study you really can't prepare for the exams. i studied all week and for 5 hours on the day of the exam and still got a bad grade. he gives you a study guide, but hardly anything on the study guide is actually on the test.

His lectures are all over the place and hard to follow. He gives you a study guide before tests and then the test are completely different. If you arent a History major then you wont do good in this class!

He was an awesome teacher, History is not my strong point and he had a great mix between discussion and visual. We would watch movies occasionally, the discussions in the class had everyone mostly involved! Would recommend this class to everyone!!!

The Man is a cool guy, he is a lawyer by day so clearly teaching isnt his primary income. He teaches with passion and speaks extremely clear, he prepares his students well for every exam and essay that is assigned. He has photographic memory (no joke) he will have you memorized by the second or third day of class by name and face. He is an appro

I took 150/151 with Mark- Charming guy actually. 150 was more interesting to me and 151 was more interesting to him. He gets a little giddy about the legal stuff. If you participate in clss- he will up your grade to whatever you deserve (regaurdless of how you tested). Very fair. Stickler for grammar on the essays!

Mark is very passionate about the subject and limited with time constraints. I think he would be great with N. A. Indian Culture, but the history is boring, same thing over and over with different names. He is by the book!
