I was really frustrated with Dr. Mendell and this class. The material was very interesting and I didn't mind going to lectures, but come test time, there was WAY too much to study. You have to know details from the (expensive) text and random things she posts on eLC. Made my first grade in college below a B in this class. Ridiculous.

WAY too hard for a intro class. Too much info for each exam and makes questions very detailed and specific when they don't need to be. Avoid if you can!

You need to know ALL the material she posts on elc. You MUST read the book in order to get an A, but overall it is an easy class.

First test is easy, but they get harder. You have to read and watch everything she gives you on WebCT! You have to read the book and all of the chapters also, which is a pain. Really knowledgeable and nice and she has great movies and guest speakers. Just read the book and everything she gives you on webct and you will be fine!

Harder than you would think a 1000 level class would be. Don't have to attend class, but it helps. The biggest PAIN is the amount of info she gives for each topic. You are responsible for the lectures, text, Web blog, online articles, online videos, and online audio/podcasts. She gives so much info its ridiculous. So just be prepared for that!
