Professor Qiu is very helpful in clarifying the subject. Be on top of the 5 assignments to do well in class. It is 30% of grade. Midterm and finals are curved so that helps out bring your grade up. Overall, he is very caring and wants students to succeed so don't hesitate to ask questions.

GEOG160 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Lecture slides are so long so when it comes to the exams people just cram as much information into their heads without really learning the material. He says that his tests are not culmative but asks several questions from previous chapters. SO confusing bc we dont know what to really study. assignments are easy but tests are pretty difficult

His assignments are long and time consuming, but he gives you plenty of time to complete them. Most of the midterm and final questions are taken directly from his power points. The rest come from the assignments. No book was required for this class. Great professor!

The class is not easy but you will learn a lot. He is not very patient this quarter and I have not idea why. It is hard to catch up with him most of the time and you relly need to work hard with other classmates
