"Lectures are long" "Skip class? You won't pass." "Get ready to read"

I took the 3 hour long class and it was so boring. Her lectures wee so long, and after each lecture we watched a video. You CANNOT use electronics in class and you HAVE to go to class if you want to pass. You got to develop a massive interest to get an A. She's friendly.

"Skip class? You won't pass."

Really bad professor. Although the class is fairly easy, during lectures she is extremely disorganized and class after class she always talks about the same things over and over. Shows a lot of movies. Although this is a gender class she focuses mainly on men women and the differences between them. This isn't a gender class at all with her.

You MUST read the book to pass her short answer quizzes and the final! A couple papers, a final research project and oral presentation. Not bad but there are only a few grades so you have to do good on everything. The videos got boring and attendance is mandatory.

I took Cultural Anthropology with Professor James-Sebro and I felt I learned quite a bit. Attendance is mandatory, but we would just watch interesting videos and go over some pretty cool readings. There is a term research paper, a couple quizzes, and a end-of-semester presentation.

ANT2410 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Truly a wonderful professor, and I very much do recommend her to those who are willing to read a bit, and can write an essay without it looking like a huge text message. Many people in my class could not write complete sentences, and received poor grades accordingly. She's very friendly and willing to help students if they seek her assistance.

She is very disorganized, and does not clearly state what guidelines the assignments possess. Throughout the whole class, you almost have to just "wing it".

SYG2220 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

The class really wasn't that bad if you put a tiny bit of effort in. Alot of boring movies at the beginning of the semester, but I made it through without reading any of the texts, with an A. That being said, do well on your papers- quizzes and exams are not hard at all. She is sometimes unclear, but is helpful if you ask for help.

This course offers great insight to the world of gender inequality. The professor has a compassion for the subject and is clear on teaching the course. I highly recommend this professor, and those with negative comments possibly were not ready for this real-life course. The course was not difficult, it is for those who are mature and open minded.

Great professor! You can really tell she cares about what she teaches and her students. If you need some extra help in class, she's willing to help. Make sure to do the readings, pay attention & speak up in class and you'll be fine.

"Caribbean Cultural Patterns" with Professor James-Sebro is a very rewarding class. If you commit to the class, you will learn a lot. I found professor Sebro to be a fair grader and I will definitely take more of her classes.

She is somewhat disorganized most of the time, and doesn't really know what she wants from you half the time. her grading is subjective but its mostly essays and arbitrary memorization here and there. if you got an A in ENC1102 you should be fine, get on her good side with nice writing and you will get an A, not really recommended however

SYG2220 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

She is hard to understand and assigns readings in the book but you only really use them for essay assignments. The class is basically unorganized arguments and she grades papers as if you're a graduate student majoring in anthropology, even though it's a lower level undergrad class. Do not take her class!

Absolutly boring, erratic, unorganized, vauge, and had a low concern for her students. Expected graduate work from first year students and graded accordingly. Avoid this class if possible!
