PHIL 326 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B

This guy is cool. Acceptable as a non-lit humanities and sts in society for gen ed. requirement. Thinking in this class is a MUST, as well as READINGS, but otherwise is very ingauging and enjoyable...

PHIL 326 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Garnar is very strange. His lectures are often rooted in esoteric language. The class requires a lot of reading, as well as very meticulous writing. (Even though there are only three papers) He's the only prof for the course, so there is no way around him. Watch out, he's bad about giving quizzes the day after sports events and socials.

PHIL 3260 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Extremely intelligent, but class is taught completely over my head. I'm sure if I had any knowledge of physics or advanced philosophical concepts I would enjoy class more, but now I'm just lost and I hate going. The readings are impossible to understand and the papers are graded seemingly arbitrarily. Seems impossible to make an A at this point.

Participate every so often, the papers are ok and not extremely difficult. Some advice: DON"T BE LATE FOR HIS CLASS. He will call you out and embarrass the crap out of you!

PHIL326 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

While I wouldn't underestimate his intelligence, the readings were often dry and difficult to absorb. However, there were only three papers total and he is pretty straightforward in his directions and making clear what he wants. The last paper is a long one but his feedback helps. Very easy to contact and helpful if confused.

PHIL355 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Garnar was previously a student of Physics, though he got his masters in Philosophy. He asks questions about physics/psychology/biology that you probably won't know or understand and class is "discussion based." Prepare to be confused, even if you do the daily reading.

He's alright. If you enjoy talking about Sci-fi, space, genetics, and other stuff like that, then you should do well. I had no interest in the info, but I did end up finding it interesting. He did not waste time. Do assignments, participate, be there for quizzes. Very fair teacher.

This guy is extremely easy. All you gotta do is the assignments and FOLLOW HIS DIRECTIONS and it's a very easy A.

Really, no slackers allowed. The tasks he gave were not difficult, but you have to familiar with all the reading materials. If you work hard or have a good critical thinking skill, you will do very well in this class.

PHIL326 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Reading's are boring. Class is boring. He lecture's the whole time, borderline impossible to pay attention, and I was even interested in the subject. His grading made no sense at all. He's the only teacher for the course though, and you're most likely required to take it. So sorry, just fair warning.
