Fabulous instructor. One hourlong Aikido class with him cured my 3-year-old carpal tunnel. Cares deeply about student safety. Does not tolerate people without integrity being jerks or dominating others. It's a fighting class. If you just want stretching and can't handle a real sensei, take a yoga class. This instructor is strong and kind.

Quin Sensei takes educating his students to heart 100%. His passion for his subject is contagious, and he does everything within his power to not only keep students happy, but safe. The only students I have seen displeased promptly dropped the class upon realizing it would require actual effort, sweat, and the pain inherent in MARTIAL arts.

Threw me on my back to "demonstrate" a technique. Hurt quite a bit. Made me loss interest in martial arts. Pint sized Steven Seagal wannabe. Very easy.

Quinn is easily one of the best PE instructors at PSU. He engages the entire class with different methods of explaining techniques to while working to give students individual attention at the same time. A must-take if you have any interest at all in Aikido!

Quin spares nothing in making the his classes the best they can be. Having been a former intercollegiate athlete & coach, he's adept at managing a plethora of different skill levels, explain concepts in more than one way, & able to keep everyone actively engaged. Not to mention, he delivers his instruction w/abundant energy, enthusiasm and wit.

This teacher seems to enjoy mocking and being derogatory towards students. His arrogant and demeaning behavior is not conducive to a constructive learning environment.
