Great professor, I really liked him. gave interesting lectures about the topic and usually added a nice personal anecdote. It's nice to hear about a professor's family and hobbies, makes them seem like a real person. Only thing I say is watch out for trick questions on those exams, because I've noticed there is usually one on each exam.

A cool, hip teacher, DJD3 teaches statics like a real DJ, pouring knowledge into your soul via the beautiful mechanism of music. He likes to rock out in class and often takes jam breaks, break dances, and crowd surfs in his audience. He may give me a F-, but I give him an A+!

I took the EFTP summer engineering course and he taught a programming class that was absolutely the greatest class I have ever taken at UF. I wish i failed it just so i could take it again. He is kick butt for a lack of cursing. A++++++++

The best teacher I've ever had at any level. He makes you interested in the subject matter instead of just wanting to pass and move on to the next class. If I could give him an award I would. He is is very down the earth, willing to help you out, funny, and I'll be darned if he's not the most beautiful professor at UF. Word.

GREAT TEACHER!!! only thing is that there are only 3 maximum 4 Questions per exam so if you have one wrong you'll lose about 30 points.. besides that he is awesome!! i really enjoyed his lectures!

DJD3 is a very good engineering professor. One of few professors who knows about internet memes and how to use them! Ex: "The number of unknowns in this equation are too damn high!" (McMillan reference included) Very helpful, good teaching style, cares for his students, good sense of humor. Beware of his love for rock climbing, however.

Great and engaging teacher. Makes watching lectures online actually interesting (didn't know it was possible). Good teacher who is clear in his teaching. Fun, encouraging, and caring about not just his student's grades, but their well being. I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed this class. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Dickrell is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Although his exams are tough with so few questions, thus so little room for mistakes, I feel his teaching style keeps everyone interested and entertained. Whether you go to class or watch the lectures online, I feel this class was well taught and I would take another class with Dickrell.

This is a man who strolls into class wearing a pirate hat and riding his pet velociraptor. He requires you write your answers in blood and burns them as an offering to the physics gods. If they are displeased with your answers, the professor gives you the option of having his velociraptor tutor you or devour you.

Extremely helpful and funny! This is the best class I've had yet and certainly encourages me to stay in engineering. He really tries to help students with the material. Do the MasteringEngineering homework and watch the videos and you should be fine on the exams!

He is chill, tells awesome stories about life and whatever, and teaches Statics like a boss. The class is quite a bit of work, it may seem (just homework), but he makes the exams easy for anyone who has followed along. The class is online but I wish it weren't, because he rocks..

My favorite teacher at UF by far. He really knows how to keep the class interesting. He also gives some really awesome life lessons. The tests can be a bit difficult, but as long as you do the homework you should be fine. He is also very clear on what is going to be on the tests. I would recommend him all the way!!!

100% Best Professor I've had thus far at UF. He is captivating in his lectures bc he makes jokes and tells stories and also teaches in a very clear and concise manner. Even though attendance is optional it is SO worth it because he's nice to look at and also gives great life advice. If you have the chance, definitely take his class!

Super-easy class; Dickrell realizes this, so he doesn't go over material ad nauseam. Instead, free class time is used for career advice or exam review. Be careful - there are a total of ~9 problems that determine the majority of your grade in the class. However, Dr. Dickrell tells you what the specific exam problems will cover.

Awesome professor, He really cares about his students and is genuine when giving advice on everyday life and future involvement in your career. You don't need to attend class but like it was said before I very much enjoyed the times I did

Best professor I've had so far at UF. Truly and sincerely cares about students and remembers you if you go to office hours and class. Tests are not tricky if you do the homework (and pay attention to what he hints at). Put in the effort-you'll earn it back.

Rarely went to class but enjoyed it when I did. Tests were always what he said they would be and were not very hard. Offers a lot of extra credit throughout the semester and drops low hw grades. Easy to get an A if you put in the effort.

Great teacher. Great class. Very helpful and concerned for students' needs. Tag teamed with Sawyer for an awesome class. They look like Bond and a Bond villain together. Really enjoys having fun while doing engineering. Wore a Mexican wrestling mask to final competition day. Best engineering class I've had by far. Gives good advice for career too.

Great professor. Genuinely wants you to succeed and will help you in any way he can. He can get a bit confused sometimes in lecture, and his test grading can be a bit strange, but overall a GREAT professor!

Excellent at teaching both the concepts involved in the course and how to apply them to solve a problem. Says exactly what he's going to test the class on so no surprised exist on test day. Shows great respect for students and genuinely wants his students to succeed in his class and beyond.
