Great Professor! Dr. Simpson does a really nice job of explaining pretty complicated concepts. The homework is key to the class, and as long as you take the time to do it you should have no problems with his tests.

Dr. Simpson is an outstanding professor!!! He is dedicated, professional, and really does care if you "get it" or not. Highly organized and class flow is very smooth. You definitely need to do ALL the homework and write down EVERYTHING he writes on the board. Yup.

PHYS350 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

He is a great teacher, most people bombed the first exam (69%) but don't let that scare you it is a huge eye opener. He is very gracious with grading and homework/labs are a breeze. No quizzes this semester though, just homework, labs, and 4 exams + a Final. Hated him at first but definitely better than the rest. (allows notecard with typing on it)

PHYS 350 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Simpson is my hero, and a true professional. He plans his class down to the minute, links the lab immaculately, starts class with an experiment, and hand grades PAPER homework! He works so hard, and was always there early to help answer questions. His class had me salivating to learn more. This is a REAL class, not a hoop jumper. Thank you!!!!

PHYS421 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Simpson is very smart. He always seems a little rushed though. I stopped asking him questions when I didn't understand something because I didn't really connect with him when he would try to explain so I don't know what was happening there. He allows a 3x5 note card for notes. His test are hard, but they are from the homework and Prob Solv

PS300 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

This class sometimes seeems like a lot of work but it's not. Lessons open on Saturdays but you actually have until the following Tuesday to turn in the work. LOTS of extra credit opportunities. No discussion boards or group interactions. Has helped quickly via email when needed. Recommend as a beginner science course to meet requirements.

Simpson teaches well, he shows you how to do everything before he gives you the homework or a test. He is very helpful and knows his stuff. It is a hard subject but if you do the work and study you'll get a good grade.
