I highly recommend this guy. Made chemistry interesting! Makes class fun and understandable for students. Tests were tricky but he curves the overall average at the end, which should help you out. Take Sadeghi if you want to understand chem 2 and enjoy it too.

Very cool professor that enjoys making chemistry humorous. Test are hard and tricky. No curves, but his grading scale is altered. Final is ACS. He makes you understand chemistry very well but throws hard questions for his tests.

If you want to understand Chemistry, take Sadeghi. He brings humor to the table & it really helps when working out problems. His tests are pretty simple if you do the review. He is VERY helpful & is a generous grader. With that said, do not slack off. Chemistry is not easy to begin with, but he makes it bearable. Loved his class!

This class is no joke but I promise he is the best professor you will ever take. When I think of Sadeghi I think of college. He is the first real professor I've had at UTSA. This does not mean in any shape/ way/ form to slack because you will get smoked. Fwiw you will remember him for the rest of your life. Sadeghi is big-time.

Professor Sadegui is a good guy; wouldn't mind drinking a beer or lighting up to Pink Floyd and discussing quantum physics. Those things aside, his class is extremely difficult. His tests always contain off the wall questions or are otherwise unlike what is covered in the class/hmwk. Does not curve! Though a 63 avg will get you a C in his scale.

Professor Sadeghi is very knowledgeable about the subject. He clearly explains everything, even the difficult topics. His tests are quite tricky. If you go to class and work the hw, you could easily make a 70 something. To get that 'A' you need to read the textbook carefully and do a bunch of extra problems. Studied a boatload but was worth it.

His lectures were really clear and his homework was pretty easy. The bad thing is that he likes putting trick questions on the test. But if you actually study the notes and look over your hw, you'll do fine on the tests. Plus, his curve helps. Overall, loved his class!

Chemistry is and always has been tough for me, but with good effort I managed to pass this class and the lab with a decent grade. Fair online homework, helpful practice problems, good guy, 4 hard tests + final if you don't study. Stressful semester, but if I can pass you can too, put in effort from beginning!

I took him for Basic Chemistry and it was way harder than anticipated. His homework was always easier than tests and caused me to miss a lot of questions. He went over the general rules but he missed some details that were very important for the tests. If I can, I will avoid taking him again.

one of the best teachers i have so far! He is very clear and easy to follow. Study his class notes, and you should be okay. Try not to miss a class because his lectures really do help a lot on the exams. He always reviews and does a lot of practice problems in class.

Ray is a really good teacher. He made chemistry understandable and easy to learn. He also is very funny so the class was interesting. Only thing is, attendance is mandatory because since he doesn't use a book you need to take notes and let him give you examples because it will help you on the test

Awesome professor really makes chemistry interesting for me. Was always funny, and wasn't afraid to call on people. I don't like chemistry, but he made it possible for me to understand, and learn.

Dear Dr. Sadeghi, thank you for motivating me to drop out of college to make something of myself. I have, and I make twice as much money as you do. Ill be sure to send you a copy of my w2 when the end of the year hits. You are a good teacher... Until then, best of luck.

Cool guy. Come to class, take good notes(he doesnt post them), study your notes and the homework for the tests and you are guaranteed an A in the class. The thing about most science classes is that you have to review the material daily. Trying to cram the material a couple of days prior to the exam is the best way to set your self up for failure.

He is okay. I wish his lectures were more organized, especially his notes. Once in a while i couldn't help but feel lost.Easy class if you stay on top of your notes and practice the homework often. He can be pretty cool at times.

Sadeghi was hands down my favorite professor this semester. He moves at a pace that is easy to keep up with. He's hilarious too, he has no problem calling someone out, but not rudely. He jokes around and manages to keep one of my least favorite subjects interesting. He's very clear about what will be on the tests. I managed an A+!

He is SUPER funny, very clear and understandable. It is chemistry so its hard but an A isn't unattainable... work hard and you might do well, just worry about test performance.

The lab itself wasn't difficult, nor the work accompanied with it. It was just the midterm and the final that were brutal. He's pretty helpful if you ask the right question or don't make him repeat himself. Funny too. Just be prepared to study hard for the midterm and final.
