"Gives good feedback" "Skip class? You won't pass." "There for you"

Professor Gadir is always willing to help. He is a phenomenal person with a genuine interest in helping students learn Arabic. His class is not hard to get an A in but it is hard to take in the sense that it is time consuming. Highly recommend taking this class. Very rewarding. You will not get a bad grade in this class.

Dr. Gadir is an awesome professor. He makes Arabic so much easier than it actually is. Homework is a must if you want an A+. He is easily one of my favorite professors. The class is enjoyable and he is a vey laid back guy. He listens all of the suggestions by students and implements them in class. Quizes are easy, tests are easy.

Gadir is wonderful! He really wants his students to do well. He likes to go off on tangents, which often involve life advice, but he's super smart and he likes students who work hard. Show that you're really trying to do well, and he'll be more than happy to help.

1010 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: A

Bouchaib came off as arrogant and unwilling to listen before he spoke. He often pulled out his soapbox and preached about how well he had done in life and offered us unsolicited advice (at least once a week). While his intentions are good, I learned very little from his class because he doesn't follow any coherent method for teaching a language.

Amazing professor! Makes a difficult language entertaining. He clearly cares a lot about his students and their success. As long as you do all the work and come to class, an A is tangible. By far my favorite class and favorite professor.

Professor Gadir is very passionate about teaching. His upper level courses are interactive and fit to the interests of the students. Office hours are invaluable. He is very knowledgeable of, and invested in, the subject material. If you like his teaching style and make an effort to learn you will not be disappointed. Excellent teacher.

Gadir was by far my favorite professor in my first semester. He is a great teacher, he is very helpful and although his office hours are inconvenient, he WILL make time to meet with you to answer questions. He is a reasonable grader and is very sensitive to personal issues tha may cause attendance issues, etc. Take his class! You won't regret it.

Gadir is great. He's helpful, and he makes a complex language seem very easy. I took it to fulfill my language requirement, but it was my favorite class. Take him!

Gadir is an awesome person and adecent professor. Make sure you don't get behind, the class moves quickly the last half of the semester. His response to questions is normally, "It's easy," but keep asking and he'll give you all the help you need.

Pretty nice guy, class is easy enough. He seems to say the same things over and over again, and sometimes he can get frustrated with the class. If you miss more than 4 times he says he'll drop you, but he definitely never follows through on this. Would take again.

Teaching is straight from textbook, attendance isn't officially mandatory but he prefers when you attend. Not really impressed by the teaching level. His answer to your question will be, "its easy."

Gadir is a nice guy, but he is a GARBAGE teacher. You have to do everything on your own if you actually want to learn, and the only thing he does in class is barely go over the answers to homework. He doesn't teach AT ALL. Don't take him if you want to enjoy class and learn Arabic.

Gadir is a cool guy! He expects you to come to class and threatens to drop you if you've had more than 4 absences (I don't know if he's ever actually followed through). All the work we do is in the textbook, and the tests are pretty much taken directly from the text book. Very interesting, not too hard. Best Arabic teacher there is, take him!

Professor Gadir is cool. He tries to help students that are having trouble in Arabic. Just remember to bring your book in everyday and do the writing homework...did I mention he has dreamy eyes.
