He gives a lot of work, and he is a hard grader. Almost every day quizzes, 2 major test, 5 essays, 2 research papers and 1 in class essay for finals. For a total of 8 essays. He is sometimes rude. If you are weak in English, then Do Not Take him! I earn myself a B. English 1302

Very easy professor. Explains assignments well and gives opportunities for extra credit. You do have to write many essays and a research paper. Overall, just do all the work and you are guaranteed to pass the course.

Awesome Professor. Very easy. I'm taking him for next semister for 1302. Just have to show up for class. He sometimes start talking about other things but it's educational. Great guy.

Dr. Miller is a good teacher. Not sure why his ratings aren't higher. He is very smart and knows alot of things. You will become a better writer after his class. Gives extra credit and is a VERY fair teacher. I hope to take him again for 1302. Do the work and attend class and at a minimum you are guaranteed a B

The best teacher ever. At first you might think that you are not going to make, but after a few days you can see how easy is to get a good grade from him. He does an awesome job and helps you in anything that he can. Just go to him and he will help you out.

He and the work load seem intimidating the first day. But he is super helpful and nice. Try not to miss too many classes/labs because a lot of valuable information is explained and it helps you on your quizzes/tests. The exams are easy to get at least C's on as long as you pay attention and glance at your notes.

If you go to class and go to his reviews he will help you. He drops the 3 lowest quiz and lab grades. The final replaces your lowest exam grade. The exams are hard, you will need to study. He's a very nice man and will do his best to help.

He's been a professor all his life, so he really knows his stuff. He gives chances, reminds you of upcoming dates, and also gives opportunities for extra points. Just make sure you do EVERYTHING to the best of your ability and make sure you're NEVER late, and you'll be fine.

If you do the work then its easy. Yes he grades tough but he gives you a lot of chances in 1301. If you're lazy and want the easy way then he's not your teacher. If you ACTUALLY WANT TO LEARN. then you WILL learn and like him. Quizes are easy. all you have to do is read the text book. I took him for 1302 and there were ALOT of high school kids.

If you turn your papers in one time you will do okay. Very tough essay grader and you will have quizzes EVERY CLASS. it sucks

It's easy to get an A in his class. The reason why so many people fail or drop is because 1301 professors don't prepare students for 1302. If you prepare yourself ahead of time and learn how to analyze literary works, then getting an A in his class is easy.

Great teacher! Very clear on what to do. He is straight forward. Read the book and do all the papers. Always do outlines they help a lot. I recommend him.

His class is ok. Assigns stories/poems to read and has a short quiz the following class, but explains everything you read. Tests are short answer but not long or too difficult. *TOUGH ESSAY GRADER! If he asks for 3 pages write 4 and do your corrections.

Not a bad teacher but class was a little dull sometimes. He gives a lot of essays to do but it's ok bc he gives the essay questions before the exam and chooses one to put on the test.I did bad on the quizzes but did pretty good on the exams.If you don't like writing, don't take his class, but I made an A in there so who knows.

I really enjoyed this professor. He is funny, toggles your mind about the reading, explains WHY you need to know literature,and makes funny comments! Do the norm: go to class, interact, read, and write well. This class should not only be easy to excel in, but also be an enjoyable experience!
