ANTH270 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: B-

This guy is a joke. I have no idea how he is employed at a University. Only textbook m/c questions that contained many mistakes. He doesn't answer emails, he appears generally sick, has difficulty speaking properly. Really a waste of time 4 a Uni level class. Grade 9 high school was more useful! No idea how he remains employed!!

SOCI230 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

This was my second time taking with Dr. Dewan. Although attendance was not mandatory, his documentaries shown during each lecture were comparing to watch. Also, prior to each exam, he gave us study topics for each chapter. But, since his exam format was multiple choice questions, it was somewhat hard to get a high grade. I got an A- in the end!

SOCI230 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

I took with Dr. Dewan twice this year. I found that he had high expectations to his students. Although attendance was optional, reading each chapter and taking good notes according to the study topics given played a key role in the entire semester. Don't be lazy; take study notes as many as you can! And, try to do his 3 bonus questions in the end!

SOCI230 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

This is my second time to take with Dr. Dewan. However, I found that his teaching approach became more vague than before. Also, his three exams were getting tougher and tougher, especially his second exam which was 10%. Moreover, he gave us 100 multiple choice questions for the final exam. However, his study topics were pretty unclear and confused!

ANTH202 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Although Dr. Dewan's mother tongue is not English, he works very hard and loves teaching so much! If you really want to learn rough knowledge about the field of anthropology, you may take with him because you can learn a lot from his lectures. As to his exams, he will give you relevant study topics. But exam questions are somewhat tricky and random
