Oh dear... Try not to take her. If you go to GMU and have her for BIOL124 or BIOL125, godspeed to you. She tends to read off of the textbook & lab manual but you can honestly just read it for yourself... Her lab practicals made me sad and made me fail. She doesn't teach you anything for the practical! Also, don't leave class early unless excused.

Good teacher, not "mean" at all. Writes notes on the board for lectures. More visuals would be better, though. Thoroughly covers the topics, so take notes. Tests are hard, so study your notes and memorize. Quizzes are easy. Lab is tough in this class; pay attention or you will have trouble with the lab quizzes. Lab project is easy if you try.

She is really really hard to understand. Pretty much all her notes from my class came from her, not the book so if you miss youre kinda screwed. Her tests are SUPER hard, even if you study. She only gives 1 extra credit assignment and it wont even make a dent in your grade. Dont take her unless you like biology and can keep up...

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. She IS MEAN, NOT helpful. I'm just being honest. She can't teach. My friend who majored in Biology couldn't even understand her notes & teaching. The ONE time she was "acting" nice was when we had a monitor come in, take notes & watch her teach. Her notes never make sense & they're unorganized.

Aww shes not MEAN, she just doesn't know how to teach. She wants us to learn and gives a good amount of extra credit. Her notes are just all over the place.
