CHEM111 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Lavrich was awesome! I used to hate chemistry, and he made it easy to understand, and get a good grade. He tends to be a little scattered and fast paced, but always stops for questions, and is very willing to help. Hoping to get him for 112.

CHEM111 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Love Dr. Lavrich. He's a little strange and disorganized but makes everything clear and reinforces it through problem sets. Im not too good at chem but Lavrich made it seem easy and I did pretty good. I would definitely take Lavrich again if I could and I definitely reccomend him

CHEM112 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

He talks a little fast so it's difficult sometimes, but he's a really good professor! Chemistry overall is hard to understand, but he was ALWAYS willing to ask questions if asked, in class or office hours. He really cares about his students, but he doesn't know to help unless you ask! Trust me, if you ask, he's so helpful! He's a great professor!

Very unorganized, very hard to understand. Doesn't seem to care about the class. He doesn't assign much work, which is kinda nice, but he makes it hard to learn stuff - which is frustrating. I would not recommend taking him.

Chem342 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

The course material is very difficult but Lavrich makes it easily understandable and does a great job making the concepts easy for students (without PhD's to understand). The tests are usually straight from notes and require rational thinking but aren't incredibly hard. Would recommend this professor- especially for P chem 1 and 2.
