Dr. Potter is really sweet. ALL the material on her tests come directly from what she lectured on in class. That being said, she loves detail so beware that even if she only metioned somthing briefly it's fair game. Despite what people are saying it's not impossible to ace her course.

Dr. Potter is very knowledgeable about microbio, but she should not be teaching an "intro" class. She teaches it the same as if it were at least a 300 level class, and doesn't change that even when she says the school won't make it a higher level course. If you don't absolutely need a course with her, I would not take it unless you love the subject

terrible teacher for a lower level class, has no place in teaching a low level course and grading as if they were graduating seniors. not impossible to pass even if you are a god of writing lab reports, she will tear you up and fail you, do not take her. Ruined my GPA for my first year and am possibly transferring because of it.

Dr. Potter is a great instructor -knows her stuff and is easy to follow during lecture. She is tough-but also up front about how difficult her exams are and how much work the class is going be (MICRO 201). She makes sure to let the students know about the difficulty level- if you are looking for an easy A, steer clear.

Dr. Potter is a great teacher and extremely helpful. But MICRB 412 is a very demanding course and not for those who are not all about microbiology. Also you might want to wait until your senior year to take it so you are best prepared for her critical thinking questions.

LONG TESTS! Very in depth essay questions that take a while to do, more than the time of the class! Overall a good teacher, but it seemed like she was only interested in helping few students.

The best thing about Dr. Potter is how willing she is to help. She really goes out of her way to assist you if you need it, and that makes her a wonderful prof.

Dr. Potter is a great professor who cares about her students and wants to see them succeed. The class is an introduction to microbiology, therefore it can get overwhelming at times. However, if you aren't doing well Dr. Potter is always willing to help you!

Dr. Potter's class is hard. But she teaches well and is extremely willing to help you. Students who rate her poorly clearly have never had a truly awful professor!

Nice lady but she has the wrong view of education. You'll be taking some of the longest, in depth tests of your life. If you can pull higher than a C, i tip my hat to you.

Doesn't curve even though half the class fails her tests. To me that shows overconfidence in her testing abilities. Its also listed as a 200 level introductory class but teaches it like a 400 level class!!! Wish i would of know before scheduling my classes this semester. Be warned!
