Very hard class. There is no scale. 3 tests, 4 excel mini projects, a vizio project, and the dreaded SUA project. Might be more during a regular semester but I took during the summer. A few quizzes thrown in at the start of class. If you want a decent grade you will have to study a lot. The take home part of the SUA takes more time than you think.

ACCT 601 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

This class is incredibly difficult no matter who you take it with. However, if you do all the homework and take the time to study you can well. Professor is very helpful, but you need to ask questions on what you don't understand. Make sure you're prepared for class and you'll get more out of it.

You will learn a lot in Strickland's class, and no, it's not an easy class. But it shouldn't be--it's a 400-level senior acct. class. If you're not prepared to study and work, don't register for it!! Seriously!! But if you read, study, and are engaged in the course, you'll have no trouble at all.

A lot of people like to complain about this class and claim that it's "too hard" or "ridiculous." Well, life is harder than this class, so you can either deal with it for three months or surround yourself with activities that require no effort and simply wait for someone to pay you to do nothing when you get older.

Worst class you can possibly take. Shes not clear as to what you are supposed to do. Ive never heard of a teacher who assigns you homework before she teaches you how to do it. Stay away by all means.

The material itself is difficult. Do all the home work, ask questions on what you don't understand and go for extra help. She is willing to work with you. This class with any professor will take a lot of extra work, but keep up with it and it's doable!

The most relevant class you can take. If you can take what strickland throws at you, you will be prepared for your first job after school. If you can't, switch to finance.

This professor was extremely unwilling to offer assistance and was unclear many times. the material tested was not appropriate for a foundations of business class - they were concepts covered in senior level undergraduate accounting classes. I am A-B student who received an F and retook the class with a different prof and received a A- grade.

Hard Class. Hard teacher. Great for accounting majors to take, great practice for intermediate I & II. Make sure you read the chapter before class and do the homework so you won't be lost in class

This teacher is the worst teacher ever! She picks on random kids in the class and makes fun of you if u don't know the answer! She confuses you with the material in class and doesn't care about you at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I took Financial Acct for my MBA with this professor. She graded us on the proper use of Excel which is completely inappropriate when Excel use isn't a pre-req. Also very hard class and very bad explanations. Became exasperated w/students frequently and refused to answer any more questions.

Difficult class if you do not pay attention or study. EXCELLENT professor, does exactly what is needed to prepare students for other classes and the real world. Those rating her poorly are those not doing well because they are careless and do not put forth an honest effort. If you do not try, you will fail. If you try, you will do well.

Very very very tough class. Be prepared to get a grade 1-2 letters lower than what you usually do. If you're just passing by with a B or less in intermediate, consider taking this class at another school. She is unclear and wants the exact wording for some stuff on tests.

She's tough but she's a great professor. You will learn alot. A lot of the basics of accounting that were never really clear, but essential become clear in her class. She's very nice if you take the time to talk to her, but don't expect to slack one bit.

Very tough teacher! Knows her stuff but takes points off your SUA and everything if she doesnt like how it looks! Also on all tests if you do not answer how she had it on the board in class its wrong no matter what the book says. You can have an A average on everything but less than 60 on SUA you have to retake class no matter what! It is horrible!

She is truely very unpredictable. She is one of the hardest teachers but also is one of the greatest. She Rocks!!! Have fun doing the SUA. And her exams arent that bad. I really think she is awsome even if she yells at you. You should yell back its fun stick to your opinions because she likes stuff like that. Lastly, you shouldnt fear her at all.
