ECON2010 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

I hate economics but it isn't because of Nikita Lyssenko. Yes - he has an accent. It's not difficult to understand, and he speaks at a great volume. The course is very dry and extremely excruciating to take. Wouldn't recommend the course. The prof, however, I would.

Econ2010 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A

Found him to be a really good prof. He has a Russian accent but I feel like he speaks clearly and is easy to understand! Tests are fair. I've seen him in office hours a few times and he was helpful, not condescending or anything. Nikita likes if you participate in class though so be warned. If you don't, prepare for awkward silences.

ECON3550 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A+

Nikita is probably the funniest professor I've ever had. His deadpan jokes are great. And his teaching is clear as long as you review his lecture notes after class!

econ 3080 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A-

He can be rude, but his lecture style encourages students to participate and be engaged in the material. I enjoyed 3080 a lot! I would recommend him

ECON2000 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Nikita Lyssenko isn't that great of a prof. I think he tries and he really does mean well but he doesn't speak loud enough, his accent is very thick and he's a little saucy from time to time. If you go you don't need to copy the notes from the slides as he puts them online and he goes too fast to copy (most times). Wouldn't reccommend.

Great prof. First economics course I've taken and actually enjoyed. He explains things quickly and effectively. I also love how there's no required textbook. Make sure you go to class and read his online notes. Exams are very predictable if you attend lectures.

Nikita Lyssenko is very hard to understand, you must sit close to the front in class. Although he means well, he has a hard time explaining answers and often times asks other students to respond. Exams are fair but he the online assignments are unbelievably long and hard but they do help. He loves smoking cigits too!

Okay prof gets better over time and is to the point. He is very hard to understand but from what I heard is one of the better profs for this course.

I had mixed feelings about this prof. He seems nice enough but I could not understand him. He has a language barrier and mumbles and all this could have been fixed with a microphone that he never used. Frustrating. Tests are fair but it takes a few weeks to get them back. I don't know.. I wouldn't take a course with him again.

I would recommend him for this course. He teaches only what is relevant to exams. The exams were easy and straightforward. For this course exams are multiple choice. The questions can be very difficult. It seems like the grading is based on how well you can read a question rather than how well you know the material. This should be improved
