PSYC-105 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A-

Professional and knowledgeable, Juliano is quite brilliant in her field. She frequently drops references to studies she's conducted or research she's done. If you don't ask stupid questions and don't try to show off, her lectures are entertaining and informative and she offers extra credit incentives throughout the semester to boost your grade.

PSYC105 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: B+

Juliano has a ton of experience in the field of psychology that she applies to her lectures to make them more applicable. Her lectures can be extremely boring, but they are worth going to instead of simply reading them offline because she adds nice stories to make them resonate. This class wasn't too hard, very basic.

A fun lecture to attend. She cares about our understanding of the material greatly and will put her ppoint on hold for as long as it takes to have a thorough class discussion about anything related to psych. Took a little warming up to but overall good prof.

PSYC 105 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Prof. Juliano is a great professor. Because it's a lecture course, it is hard for her to hold review sessions but she gives very detailed powerpoint slides and pulls a few questions from the readings as well. Very helpful; went to office hours once and she asked if I needed a psych advisor for my major.

PSYC115 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Professor Juliano is definitely someone worth having. Her class is interesting and she does her best to be upbeat about lecturing 80 something kids. I've had her in both a large class setting and a smaller one, and although it was a lot lot easier getting an A in the smaller class, if you study she knows you put in the effort and you'll be fine!

Professor Juliano is a great lecturer, absolutely makes it worth coming to class. Her tests are according to lecture and very straightforward. Even though 115 is an 80-person class, she makes it seem smaller. She has great outside examples and knows when to bring up her own experiences. Take this class for a good science Gen-Ed.

PSYC470 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Laura is an okay professor. She's very knowledgeable in her field of addiction with nicotine but she's not too good at relating her experience to the overall clinical psych field. She has a very negative attitude toward the graduate school admissions program and basically told her students that there was a slim to no chance they would get into grad school. Not the type of person you want to have your junior/senior year. Overall has a negative attitude

Amazing teacher! She really knows what she's talking about. Tests are easy if you read the book and study the slides. Definitely recommend her!

Professor Juliano was great, one of my favorite professors at AU for all four years. Extremely interesting lectures, open to student interests, very knowledgeable and experienced, learned a ton. Highly recommended professor.

She's not bad. Very enthusiastic and straight-forward: pay attention in class, go over the slides before tests, and you'll be fine. You don't even have to read- at least I didn't. She rounds grades up a lot at the end. I wasn't at all interested in the subject but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

This professor really does not care about her students. She refuses to hold review sessions before exams, refuses to make up study guides for her students, and refuses to stay on topic in class. Only take this class if you are interested in reading/memorizing an entire textbook and contemplating suicide during class time.

One of the worst professors I've ever had. Doesn't give any help at all and instead of testing on the concepts or even terms tests on irrelevant specifics of some off topic discussion we had in class. Very poor teaching. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. Also doesn't follow through with what she said she was going to do.

Good professor, very interested in the subject. The tests are pretty hard though. Very few people do well....most importantly, YOU HAVE TO READ!

Super enthusiastic, loves to show video clips and tries to have semi-discussions even though its a pretty large class. Maybe the reason why everyone is doing horribly on the tests is because they dont study? They are kind of hard but doable as long as you read the book and look over the posted blackboard slides.

Great professor. She makes the material to understand and interesting. Clearly enthusiastic and knowledgeable & has a very dynamic teaching style. Text is helpful, but she really teaches you what you need to know-make sure to read the blackboard readings. Her grading and exams are fair. Made me change my major.

Prof. Juliano has been out a lot of the semester with a back injury, but was pretty good when she was here. Because most kinds in the class were majors, she taught like we were all majors. She is obviously very knowledgeable, but is kind of boring. I didn't read the textbook b/c chapters were long, but probably should've.Recommended to psych majors

had abnormal w/ her. She's all right. Lectures are discussion-based, if that's your thing(it's not mine for this kind of class). Tests = really long, not impossible but make sure you read the case studies/controversial articles. Don't really need to read the book; she teaches you everything you need to know. Decent class and prof.
