This woman is a rude woman who doesn't care if you pass or not. She compares students, doesn't explain work, and is abusive with her power of being the professor. I don't recommend her whatsoever to students interested. The class itself isn't bad. There is 4 or 5 tests (not including the final) and she'll drop your lowest grade.

Franco isn't terrible. The trick to CHEM 201 is to read the textbook. It is an absolute must. The tests come straight from the text, so if you read them, you'll get an A.

Hated this class. It was very difficult to follow along in class. I barely got through the class and that was thanks to the SI sessions.

I didn't think this course was all that bad. I think if you study hard then you should get an A. She doesn't always explain things very clear though

Doctor Franco is totally underrated on here. Very nice, very good teacher. Tests can be disproportional to practice and homework, so study hard using Dr. Noble's online stuff. its pretty much the same that will be on her tests

She is a really nice lady. But she need to improve on her teaching skills. Online Hw is optional and it is extra credit. DO IT. It may be the difference between a A and b or a D . 4 tests in total and she drops the lowest grade. Her third test is the harderst among all of them. Not a hard class. read the text and watch the videos.

I took Dr. Franco for Chemistry 101 and have to say she was a very good professor. If you go to class, take notes, and do the homework you will be fine. This is college chemistry so you can't expect to walk your way through it. She also encourages going to her office hours if you need extra help which I did on one occasion. Great professor.

Terrible professor, the only good thing that she has going for her is that if you want to you can miss everything for the entire year and do only the final which will be your grade. Other than that she is not very helpful with issues, the only answer you get is just watch the tegrity clip, however you cant understand her. DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!!!!

Not a difficult class. I just watched the lectures she post online the night before the test and do the homework and I got A's on her test.

I think Dr. Franco is an excellent teacher. Her accent is not an issue and she goes over the material very well. She is very nice and tries to answers everyone's questions. I would recommend her to others.

Her accent really isnt that bad. Some words are hard to understand but overall its fine. She doesnt talk much about the textbook just does example problems. Therefore, if you know how to do the problems the tests are easy.

If you by some misfortune are forced to take Ms. Franco’s class--use youtube and the textbook. Zero knowledge is gained from her lectures. They frustrating and I doubt Ms Franco could pass her own exams, she constantly is making errors in equations. It is confusing and counterproductive. If you desire to learn chemistry concepts—stay away.

At first, her accent was the most dreaded thing to handle, but it grows on you. It's a pretty standard lecture: reads and writes out of the textbook for almost 300 kids. My advice: sit close to the front. It's easier to hear her and you'll be more likely to pay attention. She doesn't ask for questions, but she's willing to help if you have any.

I could barely understand her and she moved extremely fast through the material. Tests were very difficult. Seeking outside help and tutoring is what got me through the class.

Hard to understand, I had her for an evening class and she acted like she didnt even want to be there. If you read the book and answer the questions at the end of the chapter and do the sapling homework, then you will do fine. Going to class is pointless cause he cant teach at all, she does do good examples but that is it.

I couldn't understand anything she said. her tests were extremely difficult, and had hardly anything to do with what was required to study.

Because it is a gen-ed, Franco chooses to go slower and review at a snail's pace for those who need it (I didn't, but was okay with a gen-ed that I didn't have to work for). (Senseless) questions seem to take up a majority of the class period. I got an A+ easily in her class. Just do Sapling work and go to class and you will do fine.

Awful. I had to go home for a family emergency. I lost 3 family members at once. I came back, explained to her why I missed the test and she wouldn't let me retake it. She is super rude. Don't take her!

Worst professor that I ever met! She made my freshman year hell because of this class. I've always been an A/B student but this class was hell AVOID. Homework helps with points but isn't related to exams. Exams are not even from the notes, I think she pulls questions from her ASS to put on exams . AVOID!
