He doesn't teach well. He assigns reading & briefly goes over stuff in the text & his shorthand notes with you. He uses clinical examples in lecture. Lab exams = fill in ?s. He uses a timed 1 min rotation system per ?. Easy if you memorize models/slides. Use the link on BB. Lecture exams = detailed M/C. Gives little EC. Hope you have good memory!!

Professor Ninberg is very helpful. He explains the material very well and grades exams fairly. If you come to class, he actually gives you questions and answers that you will see on exams! Highly RecommendeD!

Awesome teacher. He loves the material and it shows. Very helpful & wants you to do well. This is a tough topic that takes a lot of work, no matter who the teacher. don't miss class-he often tells you what will be on the test. To do well, understand the material, don't just memorize. Good clinical applications-tells great stories from his practice!

Took him last fall. He's a very cool teacher and his lectures are very interesting. Exams are tough though. When studying, I suggest you used note-cards to help you memorized things. I'm not a smart guy and have been out of school for like a decade, however, I was able to walk out of his class with a B...Memorization is the key.

Dr. Ninberg has a lecture packet that is really useful. Like the last poster said, the key to getting a good grade for the lab is repetition. If you go over the lab chapters everyday and don't procrastinate, it helps out a lot. Also the Mesa Anatomy website helps out, since the models and histology is exactly what Dr. Ninberg puts on the lab test.

Anatomy is just a tough subject. Prof helped all he could, though there were some areas where he wasn't clear and didn't really know the subject matter. Some of the lecture test questions were kind of iffy and ambiguous. He gives a total of 15-20 points of extra credit, for a 1000 point course, that's not much. This course is straight grade, no curve.

AWSOME teacher! hard class but he is VERY helpful and you can tell that he loves to teach. be ready to study a lot outside of class. I wouldn't take more than one other class with this class. I really learned a lot!

Although this professor's knowledge of the subject is limited for some units in the book, it is extensive in others. If you study at least 8 hours a week, you will get a B, maybe even an A. Very friendly! He is getting better at writing test questions (only multiple choice; no short-answer), so that they are fair. Read chapter before class!!!
