Great professor! He was very nice and smart. He does lay out the amount of work you have to do for the grade you want to earn. This isn't your normal physics class, if you want to learn tons of equations and facts don't take him. If you just want to get through physics enjoyably- definitely take him.

Great online physics class if needed. You do your own work to get the grade you deserve.

I would never take another class from david ever! homework and outside work is way too high and almost all the blackboard assignments are totally irrelevant to physics. BEWARE all of your free time will be spent on this class alone.

The work load is clearly outlined at the beginning for each desired letter grade. It is non-traditional learning with lots of hands on examples of the principles. Does require journals and the test are all verbal interviews. If you want someone who truly cares if you learn something, this is a class you want to take. "A True Educator" Thanks David!

Honestly if you are lazy, don't take this class. His teaching methods are a bit bizarre at first, it's very time consuming, but overall I learned a lot and it's definitely better having interviews with him than taking tests.

his instructions are very unclear and it even says that in his syllabus. you get a ton of homework outside of class and have to write in blackboard on the discussion board for a grade. then you have to do pointless videos every week about physics and submit them. Plus he makes you do a program called VPython and all you do it make 3D objects.......

The lesson plan was terrible. It was relating physics to music. It didn't feel like a physics class sadly. I wish we related physics to cool things like cars or astronomy... Halfway through the semester, he decided we had to 2 museums and a lecture to get an A, which wasted lots of money for a grade. And he grades *nothing*. I do not recommend!
