Psych422 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

One of the best professors you'll ever have. She's an expert in her field and lectures are fascinating and very clear. Attendance is mandatory but she makes expectations very clear on day one. Exams are hard but fair. Easy to get an A if you attend class, participate and study for exams using her notes.

I am a graduating senior and she is one of the worst teachers I've had at Penn State. Very unclear as to how attendance will be graded (told us the day of the final how much each class was worth)

She expects you to come to class and engage in the material. If you read prior to class, her notes are very straight forward. You get a point a day just for showing up. Make sure you answer some of her questions and know every minor detail about the notes. I got an A but it definitely takes work. Overall great professor and enjoyable class.

She's an interesting character. She definitely has very high expectations that you attend class and give her your full attention, but if you do so shes warms up and becomes more receptive. Haven't actually taken the final yet, but from what we have been told it will not be cumulative.

PSYCH270 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Really interesting material and very cool professor. Lectures are very clear. Tests are straightforward if you study. You must attend class. Her tests are from her lectures. Weekly movies. Fair grader. You have to work hard but the class is great.

she uploads powerpoints with missing words so you ahve to go to class or get the notes. There are videos on fridays so you have to go to those classes to write an easy analysis but its so annoying because they are due on monday. the final was 1/3 new stuff and 2/3 everything, but not as hard as everyone is saying. on average the tests are tricky

Love this prof! She is so helpful and teaches a great course. Abnormal psych is a great course to take it's so interesting. The notes are very thorough and her lectures aren't boring at all. Tests are pretty easy if you study and do her study guides.

Her lecture PowerPoints are ridiculous , she is teaching us everything that she learned . Her exams are stupid hard she give us study guides that are unorganized not helpful and sometimes Have nothing to do with the exam, If you go to her and ask her questions she makes you feel bad and stupid and uses these words ?good students do it this way?

I'm normally a straight A student, and I had some trouble with this class. She will tell you that she's not going to ask questions about something on an exam, but you'll see a question on it. For an INTRO course this was not worth my time. Lectures are mandatory as she takes out slides from her powerpoints. Final was the entire book. AVOID!

Don't take this course unless you want to pull your hair out for her final! The final itself is 18 chapters - that's the whole textbook (about 700 pages). She treats an intro class as if it is an 400 level course and assumes that every student in the class wants to clinical psychologists. Not a course if you are looking to boost your GPA!!

DONT DO IT!! She teaches to us as if we are Grad Students who are becoming Clinical Psychologists. Her notes are unorganized and random, and way too detailed for a 200 INTRO course. Her study guides are actually not a guide. The final was 18 Chapters- THE ENTIRE ABNORMAL PSYCH BOOK!!

She is really nice in class and answers questions. It is clear she loves and knows what she is talking about...however....you WILL NOT get an A. This is NOT an easy class. Her exams are IMPOSSIBLE. Just to get a C I study five days for her exams. Avoid if you are looking for an easy A.
