She was a great teacher. I loved it that she spoke spanish 100% of the time. She's from Argentina so it was cool to hear a different accent and dialect. She was very reasonable, allowing kids to turn essays in late. It was obvious that she was passionate about spanish and she recognizes talent and serious students. Always willing to help.

Alicia is a little muddled, a little foggy, a little disorganized - her classes are a lot of weird little exercises that don't make sense. That said she's a complete sweetheart and really wants to get to know her students and keep class interesting. A worthwhile class overall.

Alicia is definitely a great language teacher. Classes were interesting and while there was a lot of busy work outside of class, work was relevant and class did not feel like a waste of time. I definitely feel like I improved my spanish speaking skills throughout the semester.

Her class is not the easiest, but neither is it all that difficult and Alicia will never denigrate a student for not understanding or for making a mistake. She is also as approachable as can be asked and responds to her emails quickly. If you come to class consistently and prepared and participate plenty in the class discussions, you can get an A.

First and foremost, she is very helpful and will always go the extra mile to help you learn. This class was very fast paced and very social, so be awake! She is very engaging and fun.

Awesome professor. Very helpful if you have any questions. Very clear about what you have to do and tests and quizzes are very relevant to what you do in class.

As long as you do the reading and keep up with online homework you should be fine. Her tests are predictable and aren't ridiculously demanding.
