Rel 265 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Class was confusing and hard. So much reading I couldn't keep up. The material was difficult and she didn't explain it clearly. The only good part about this class is how HOTT Shusko is.

I took world religions with Miss. Shusko and we learned more about the culture than about the actually religion itself. This poor women is to smart for her own good, and the readings are pointless. I Hate this women! You can never please this women. She was rude when I would ask for help and is flat out just an annoying nerd.

Christa is a great professor. She will make you work hard, which, guess what, is how you learn things. She is a major nerd; very passionate about her field. She is also funny in an endearing way.

Terrible professor. She assigns a bunch of readings that do not help at all. Very confusing, her explanations are terrible. DO NOT TAKE!!

World Religions: This is a nice class if you are interested in the subject and are willing to put the time into reading the book. I would'nt recommend taking this class to fill in a fine arts elective (there are easier classes with less of a work load).

WORLDREL Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

She is a great professor! I enjoyed her class a lot. If you need any help or clarification, she is always willing to assist you. I e-mailed her asking her about further reading material on a specific subject, she sent me a page of info and a couple of book recommendations. If you enjoy religion classes, she is the way to go!

Not necessarily an easy grader, but if you do the work you'll be fine, and she is willing to help.

Pretty cool professor. Very charming. Material can be dull so her laid-back personality helps to balance it out. She's been very helpful and accommodating. As a grader she is not terribly hard but still expects you not to BS her papers which come every other week. Those are the only ones you really need to read the primary srcs which can be hard.

I took world religions with Shusko, and I felt her tests she required a lot of information for the identify section, I felt I could never get a 100 percent on questions or essays. It was really frustrating, I went to her office for help with the final/flashcards and she wasn't much help looking over the flash cards I prepared. Take Taylor instead

She's extremely helpful and generous. She is not full of herself in ways that professors of her breadth of intelligence tend to be. Writing assignments every other week are the only ones you need to read for. She makes a lot of what's not on its own an interesting class. If you are interested in a Rel. class, I would absolutely recommend her.

If you have no interest in religion or philosophy, do not take this class. Shusko is one of the best professors I have ever had, do not need to print out the papers, she doesn't check. She is so intelligent and helpful, but some people don't bother to try or think- they just want an easy class. Its not for you then.

She assigns a LOT of reading, but if you keep up with it she is fairly easy. She is a little above average in most respects, I don't regret taking her.

Class is a but cut and dry at times, but she has a good sense of humor and is very kind! Traveled to many places where we study religions and adds personal experience to class. Powerpoints are full of pictures. Class is very helpful in soc, psych, and history, and other classes. Would definitely take another class from her again!

Professor Shusko is a very bland instructor. She gives you a paper to write every week plus a mid-term and a final paper. Be prepared to have to print out extra papers to read each week. I ended up spending a extra twenty to twenty-five dollars to print out these reading each week. Also watch your grades she prints out on blackboard because the

Professor Shusko gives plenty of writing assignments (1 a week and a final paper), however her grading guidelines are very clear. Her door is always open and she is very willing to help clarify any information. She is knowledgeable and obviously enjoys the subject matter. I would definitely take another class with her.
