She is a really kind person and seems to genuinely care about her students. I thought her class was going to be WAY easier than it has turned out to be. Tests are off powerpoint slides but can still be quite tricky. Her lectures can be confusing and are often times dull. She does offer extra credit but completing it does not ensure full points.

I really enjoyed the topic and I took it online over the summer which was super convenient. There was a fair amount of homework but manageable. I managed to get an A but there was work that had to be put in to earn it.

Dr. Cohen is one of the nicest PSIO professors out there. She does not obsess about her work and forgets about the class she teaches. Many PSIO professors out there are so involved with research that they don't even have any office hours. I want a professor not a part time teacher. Dr. Cohen is a favorite by the many.

Although Cohen knows her stuff, listening to her stumble over her words and desperately try to make stupid jokes. It is extremely easy to get distracted by how often she blinks, or says 'issues.' A good class overall but she is just irritating to listen to. Also, no one cares about your rowing or biking!!

Zoe is very sweet and genuinely wants to help all of her students! I took Immuno first and loved it, but I've also taken Cardio and her Inflammatory Disease class. I would recommend all of them! Tests for Cardio and Immuno are straight off the powerpoints, which are sometimes long and tedious - but that helps when you miss class!

Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable, straight-forward with every lesson, doesn't BS students around like other psio professors, makes students work hard for extra credit (well worth it too); in fact I honestly wanted to learn more after doing her extra credits. She's truly an exceptional professor. BOTTOM LINE, take her!!!

This is my second semester with Zoe (took Cardio too), and she continues to be my favorite PSIO prof. Yes, immuno is 'harder' than Cardio, but let's be real that isn't saying much. She makes everything very interesting and is always willing to help (lots of XC), so don't be put off by comparing it to her other class. Take this class!

I took Immuno with Cohen after enjoying her Cardio class. The material is definitely more challenging in immuno but is similar to cardio in that you need to know your diseases and the pathologies. Prepare to take notes and study if you take it as the ppt slides can be wordy and confusing, but the extra credits do help a lot (+7% of overall grade)

acknowledges that the questions on her tests can be interpreted in different ways but then never gives you points back. really? i wanted to yell at her so many times but she's a sweet woman so that was hard to do

Very approachable, very involved and committed to her students. Engaging class material (the class is more of a discussion section). The class is pretty easy but interesting if you like the immune system.

absolutely adorable woman. unfortunately her tests are horribly worded and do not measure knowledge of the subject. even spoke to her about how her questions on exams could be interpreted a certain way, and even if she agreed i would never get points back. extra credit does help, but the grade i have doesn't reflect how well i know the material

Very disappointing with the class. Enjoyed the material, but never felt like I knew how to study for tests(which is the bulk of your grade). She does offer a good amount of extra credit, which is a lifesaver!! So do them all!!! She is a very nice person, who makes lectures interesting, but they can go long and tedious

I was really excited for Cardio only to find her lectures and ppts long, dull & wordy. There's no textbook, which seems strange. Tests don't measure your knowledge of important points well but instead test your ability to memorize everything from lecture...at least she offers a lot of extra credit. She's a nice & approachable woman otherwise.

*sigh* Cohen's Cardio-phys class was decidedly unimpressive. Lectures were incredibly boring, material presented nearly incomprehensible and the exams sub-par in representing useful material or what was actually TAUGHT in the class. Overall, I did not like Cohen as a teacher and would not recommend her unless you're looking to just get a grade.

I went to her office for help. I wanted to look at my tests to look at what I was having trouble with. Everything is a mess-I couldnt look at my test only her answer key and had to bring in my grade sheet. She isnt very helpful. Psio 431 is insane and relatively hard. Psio 485 has a nice amount of extra credit..do it!
