ENGL805 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

David is assionate about the topic, encourages students to contribute, approachable, offers great suggestions to improve writing. Accepts others ideas even if they conflict with his own. Syllabus shows you what you need to do for a solid grade and any papers he hands back are graded. And any serious writer doesn't really care about grades.

ENGL627 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

David is a lot of help one-on-one, but class is a time waster. It's easy to get the work done, but writing poetry to (limiting) prompts isn't for everyone. Nobody knows what their grade is til' the semester ends and advice from peers is contradictory/useless, but mandatory. I was excited for the class but I've honestly learned nothing.

ENG627 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Very passive style. Doesn't give grades through semester, so the final one is all you ever get. He does very little in the classroom, making his workshops very student-run. Very vague when it comes to assignments/expectations. I was really disappointed.
