CHEM005
I agree, he does have a hard time "bridging the gap." He is a genius and he expects you to understand. He is actually very concerned and caring and will help you the best he knows how, but it frustrates him when students do not show college level skill. I would recommend him to anyone who actually cares about their grade. He'll work it out with you
CHEM004
If you dont understand the concept being taught he has a hard time bridging the gap (explaining). Wants you to know the material above all and isn't very interested in your grade even though you are. Great personality but don't expect too much of that personality to come through on grading. Be prepared to work for your grade in this class.
CHEMLab
I have him for Gen Chem 1 lab. He's a great teacher, always makes sure that you understand exactly what you're about to be doing and that you fully understand the concepts.
Chem102
Wonderful professor. He's really enthused about his work. I recommend him to anybody!!!!
CHEM101
Gave quizzes every two weeks but posted practice that was exactly like them on blackboard. Failed one quiz and got A's and B's on test and still received an A. Must attend class, he sometimes gives extra credit for just being there. Really enjoyed professor. Very sarcastic but interesting.
Chem002
He is extremely helpful. Very chill and gives lots of opportunities for you to gain extra credit if you are struggling. Welcomes questions and wants his students to learn. Hates seeing his students earn bad grades.
CHEM001
He is the BEST Chemistry professor at Howard. I took him in the spring after dropping the Chemistry class I had in the fall. I passed his class with a B. He is the absolute best.
Chem01
He is the best professor at Howard!! He genuinely cares about his students. His class is pretty easy as long as you show up work on the study guides and talk to him when ur unsure of things. And like everyone says the study guides are pretty much the same as the test. Take him!!!
CHEM001
Hes a very understanding teacher.if you dont show up and get a bad grade then dont expect him to sympathise.if you show effort then hes always willing to help.He also gives extra credit and all the questions he gives in class and online are what comes out in his tests and quizzes

The best teacher at Howard University! Very inspirational, easy grader, understanding, and writes recommendations if you need one.
CHEM003
I don't even know where to start. Prof Abanulo is not like your everyday professor. He Really cares about his students and wants the best for them. He's EXTREMELY helpful and gives practice exams that are almost identical to the actual exam. Don't be fooled though, you have to come to class and review your work. Unless you're a chemistry genius...
