chem101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: D

He's a good teacher but he just wasn't for me. If your generally already good and familiar with chemistry take him but if you have struggled with some chemistry in the past like myself DON'T. HE Paces through his powerpoints quickly and doesn't really explain clearly or entirely what he is doing assuming you already know all the concepts.

Chem001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Online homework was good. He uses powerpoints a lot. Sometimes his lectures are fun. But his tests were focused on knowing the material completely and going to recitation helps a lot! He's a great teacher but it always helps for you to familiarize yourself with him and make sure he knows who you are. Show him that you're trying and you care. STUDY!

CHEM 005 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B

The class in itself is in no way easy. You have to work for it, you have to practice. Abanulo facilitates an environment in which you can succeed. He is a very smart man and sometimes does not understand why students aren't getting the material. He seems to get frustrated because of this but is willing to work with you if you go to his office.

Chem 101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Prof A is a smart man. He is a bit fast in teaching chemistry and his tests are tricky and his HW is hard but he is fair. Come to class, take notes, read before & after and practice. Chem isn't easy but you have to try. Practice makes perfect and tht applies to Jude's class. Is fair and funny & nice. Be polite & come to class.

Chem003 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

Really good professor. The class is not an easy A, you have to study to do well on the tests. Coming to class not necessary but helpful. He teaches from a PowerPoint and puts it online. If you just study the PowerPoint and do his practice problems, you can get at least a B. An A if you really try. He really wants you to do well if you try.

CHEM-003 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Professor Abanulo is awesome! He really cares about his students and his lectures are actually interesting. I got an A in the class and would take him again. Also go to recitation, it helps. And don't be discouraged by the homework assignments, they are harder than the tests.

Gen Chem 1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Abanulo is a good professor that wants you to learn and know chemistry at a high level. His test are very challenging. If you do not already have an understanding of chemistry I would suggest to not take him, or be ready to use an ample amount of outside sources. I had to work very hard to receive a B in this class.

Chem 101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A

Here is a Prof who not only explained the subject well, also discussed study skills, etc. I am yet to find someone that obtains an A grade on a subject and in the joy of the moment take the time to write how bad the Prof of the subject was. Follow his advice and you will be successful.

Chem101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

He is not good at explaining chemistry. Most of the time he thinks you understand the concepts even though you may not. He often is hard to understand and is confusing.I advise that you take another professor if you care about your grade.
