Took this class in Spring 2012 as my first English class at NOVA. I had no interest in English and had horrible writing skills. She is very involved and loves to help her students. She gives a fair amount of work, but its not hard. If you attend class and try, you will get a good grade. Highly recommended.

Dr. Biden is a great teacher. You can tell she truly enjoys her job and cares for all her students. Dr. B is very fair and will work with you if she sees that you are trying. I hate english and loved every class, time went by too fast.

Dr. Biden was one of the best English teachers I've had in quite some time. She really cares about improving your writing skills and revolves the class for solving them. She encourages you to have an opinion through your writing. The class was amazing and I hope everyone is lucky enough to have her as a professor.

Dr. Biden, is a very helpful teacher. She also gives you time to finish all your assignments. Her goal is to pass you NOT to fail you. She was great!

Prof. Biden is a good teacher, but the book she used was so incredibly biased and stupid that the class was stupid. Definately reccomend her though
